I definitely have to hide it to get my kids to eat it lol I’ll have to try adding it the next time I make chili.I don't love it or hate it, but I will join Team Spinach. Of all the greens, it's the one I eat the most and it's usually present in my refrigerator. My consumption of it has gone down as I eat kale more and more, though.
I prefer it cooked and will put it in all kinds of things like chili and other bean dishes, tofu scramble, and veggie burritos.
My goal is to eat a little greens every day, and I have a long history of "hiding" them in my meals to make sure I do.
I’m a weird one who likes it cooked on it’s own. I need to try adding it to things other than smoothies and eggs!I like spinach salad but I’m not wild about cooked spinach on its own. That said, I throw it into a lot of other things like pasta sauces, smoothies, soups and other dishes where it isn’t the main event.
I love it in protein smoothies with raspberries.I'm in team LOVE IT.
I'll use it as the base of a salad since it's one of the more nutritious greens. I especially like to mix it half and half with arugula. I use it in my morning protein smoothie; as long as I add blackberries or raspberries, I can get in a handful of spinach without making it taste like grass. And then I chop it up or blend it into almost everything else. Soup, tomato sauce, any brown sauce like beef bourguignon, or anything else I can get away with blending it into. I have a child who hates vegetables, so I chop this small or use my blender as a way to get vegetable content down her hatch.
I like the crunch it adds to a sandwich. It’s a staple in my fridge. Morning smoothies (not bitter like kale can be), love it sautéed and the scrambled eggs and feta added to it, works good in sandwiches too. Sometimes I’ll add to a soup, or some other warm salad. I don’t care as much for frozen, as I think it cooks soggier than fresh.
Yes to spinach and artichoke dip! The best way to enjoy spinach!Spinach and artichoke dip...yum! I don't mind spinach in an omelette or soup or salad, but I don't go out of my way to incorpoarte it into my diet.

You’re the second one to mention spinach on pizza! I would be interested in trying out your mom’s favorite but it sounds very far from my favorite (ham, pineapple and almonds).I'm not the biggest fan because I have texture issues with so many foods. I think the only time I ever managed to eat spinach was when my college roommate's mom would make us 'lightly spinached lasagna'.
My mom's favorite pizza is a Spinoccoli from Pizzeria Uno's: spinach and broccoli with feta and mozzarella cheese. It's been her favorite my whole life and I'm pretty sure I still have an unbaked one in my deep freezer for her. (We pick them up when we're in Orlando, portion them out, and she bakes them in a retired pan from Uno's.)
You do! I dislike most veggies in general (unfortunately) so I'm always looking for ways to sneak them into food without them being too obvious and spinach is perfect for that.I’m a weird one who likes it cooked on it’s own. I need to try adding it to things other than smoothies and eggs!
What you need to do is order 2 pizzas for the table and alternateYou’re the second one to mention spinach on pizza! I would be interested in trying out your mom’s favorite but it sounds very far from my favorite (ham, pineapple and almonds).

Good job adding spinach to everything! I prefer baby spinach over lettuces.i love spinach! I no longer eat lettuce. I put in everything(almost). omelets, breakfast sandwiches, on hamburgers, soups, salads, burritos.
Yes! I always want to try everything lolWhat you need to do is order 2 pizzas for the table and alternate![]()
f you chop spinach very very small and hide it under the cheese, and are willing to say that it's probably just basil, sometimes finicky children (mine) will eat it.You’re the second one to mention spinach on pizza! I would be interested in trying out your mom’s favorite but it sounds very far from my favorite (ham, pineapple and almonds).
I chop it up and it doesn't alter the flavor of anything that I've noticed.I definitely have to hide it to get my kids to eat it lol I’ll have to try adding it the next time I make chili.
Yes banana spinach smoothies are great!Popeye would approve of all the spinach lovers here.
I like spinach, but like someone else said, I don't crave it. I'll eat in salads and I like it cooked in thing too. My biggest surprise was years ago when I found a smoothie recipe that had a ton of spinach in it and as soon as you add a banana you can't even taste the spinach!
I'm not a big fan of pizza in general, but one I do love is a pesto base with spinach, mushrooms, jalapenos, feta, and mozzarella. On pizza?! I’ve never done that before.
I feel like I am behind the times because I’ve never hidden spinach in a meal!Spinach is a vegetable I never had growing up, but one that I used as a 'hidden' vegetable in pasta dishes for my own family. I do like it in those but rarely eat it as a stand alone dish.
