Speed Scrap | March 21st 9pm

Hey, hey everyone!! We will be scrapping and chatting in the chat room shortly, but I will also be posting the instructions here in case you are not able to get in to the chat.

Remember: Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery. GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed.

Upload your pages to the gallery and pop them in this thread before the 11pm deadline and I'll be sending you a coupon!

Step 1: Choose a solid color background. Texture is fine.

Step 2: Choose 1 or 2 photos and place them near the center of your page.

Step 3: Add 2 paints or stamps behind the photo. It can be the same one repeated, or one of each.

Step 4: Add a journal or filler card, slightly tilted, overlapping your photo…or one of the photos if you have used two.

Step 5: Add no more than 5 other elements to the page, anything at all you like, just no more than 5.

Step 6: Add a big title. It doesn't have to be huge, just fairly big. You can use an alpha or a word art.

Step 7: Finish it off with some shadows and the date. You can add some journaling if you wish.

My 4 elements are the anchor scatter, starfish, little sticker, stitches border.
I ended up using a brush twice (on 2 different blue papers) for the paints/stamps step.

5 - Extra Elements - Paper clip, journal strip, sequin scatter, date sticker & brad.
6 - Title, "Swimming at Chateau Montebello"
7 - Shadowed, dated, journalled.

I think I changed everything about 3 times, except for the photo. Scattered gum drops are 1 element. And I found a card that worked.
