Like right now. I want to buy Amy Martin's retirement sale. $99. Was thinking it would be about $120 ish. Forgot that our dollar sunk and found out it would cost me $162. (don't get me wrong, even $162 is an amazing value! but I was already pushing $120). Wish I had seen the sale before I took my car to the mechanic. Car could've waited 2 more weeks for next pay day (nothing major, just maintenance).... but the sale can't wait :( :hissy
 
That would be frustrating. There are still lots of great bundles maybe you can catch those?
 
Yeah was looking at the bundles. The ones I want still add up to that anyway lol. That's after I narrowed it down :P Might revisit tonight or tomorrow morning and see how I feel then :D
 
Totally get it, it truly is a stinker right now $1NZD= approx $0.62USD
 
Our Aussie dollar is not far ahead. I always think it is a great deal until I get to Paypal and have a heart attack when I see the conversion.
 
I hear you ladies, the Canadian dollar is not good right now either. Loved it when it was near or at par and we enjoyed it for quite a long time. Right now 1 US Dollar equals 1.32 Canadian Dollar, but I spent anyway :giggle.

Amy has some great deals and that buy your store, is a fabulous one. I had most of her Helper Grids and a lot of her Project Grid series prior to her announcing her retirement *sniff* but I picked up quite a few of her Full On template sets.

I just figure I will cut down my scrap budget for next month (seriously who am I kidding?)
 
I'm always amazed at what an international community we have! If it is any comfort to you gals the dollar is taking a beating on Wall St. right now due the economic news coming out of China. I'm retirement aged and my investments still haven't gotten back to where they were before the real estate crash and now we're taking another beating!
 
I close my eyes and pretend there isn't such a thing as an exchange rate. Who am I kidding?!

Dollar issues all around!

Just wish it was open for another 10 days before her store closed. I get paid fortnightly and Wednesday next week would be great. Ah well. Not the first time I have missed out on an amazing deal due to the exchange rate!!!
 
If it helps at all, extra coupons were posted on her FB page. Perhaps extra deals make it better?
 
woooooo just got home and managed to get a coupon. YAY!!! Got the retirement sale. So happy!!!!!
 
o boy! I never realized how lucky I am - no math or conversions!
