All of a sudden, :eyeroll my fonts are typing ridiculously small even though set at largest font size. I have to type ( can't even read it) and then toggle it to enlarge it and edit if i make typos! Anyone have a clue??? It is not my machine, as the other programs are just fine with the Font manager. This started last week???

Try opening a template that has the fonts normal size. That usually helps when people have font problems. Sometimes PSE fonts get stuck and opening a template with good fonts fixes it.

Last time a template changed it to all caps- if it is a template this time, I will either try to remember to check after using, or avoid templates altogether, LOL!:eyeroll

I have done this before by accidentally having superscript selected in the font settings... I didn't even click on it, I think I accidentally hit the keyboard shortcut for it while attempting to do something else.

Well, tried 3 other templates- one with a very large sized font. NOPE.

you may have hit control shift by accident. (I have done this too many times)
you might also go to TYPE pull down menu and go to preview font size

Tried the remedy ( from PS forum) that lists the Control Shift steps. Nope.
And my Type setting ( in the program) is set to Extra Large - has been for weeks. Can't figure this out-
YET!:eyeroll:cornfused

@AnneofAlamo - Thanks, tried that too. ( I'm game- this WILL return to normal!)

So, this shows my Type settings inside the program.

THIS shows how the fonts ( all of them!) are typing at the largest size available inside the program:
(the viewing is "fit on screen")

??? Should this be moved to HELP forum?

I had this happen to me, so I am searching my brain..it is really old brain, so I have to defrag..bhahha

What size is your document? 12x12 300 ppi? Things could look smaller if you have a higher ppi.

If you click the arrow at the bottom of your screen next to DOC: 37.1M/127.9K and change that to document dimensions, you can see if your document is 12x12 300 ppi

Why is the font too big or small in Photoshop? Because your DPI/PPI is wrong. How to fix incorrect font size in Photoshop:
1. Go to Image... Size.
2. Uncheck the "Resample" option
3. Enter the correct width and height. The DPI/PPI will be calculated automatically.
This is a very common mistake that happens to pretty much everybody but no one takes the time to figure out why. So I hope this clears up the confusion.

i've never had this happen but i was reading all this thinking what a strange thing! has Anne and Kayla's dpi/ppi suggestion helped you Amanda?

I had this happen too and it was the dpi that had been set way too high for some reason.

I create a new document with the resample always unchecked. For pages or design I usually start with 12x12 at 300- the industry standard. Always have-- for 9 years! But for the past week, the fonts are still shrunken.:think Sorry,:sorry @AnneofAlamo - with the great big heart to help! :bk

hey are you on the cloud? CC? or a hold out like me? lol
did you check the dpi? cause, maybe gremlins got in and messed with it?

LOL! You are precious, @AnneofAlamo !:queen
No, N0, and tried cloud but didn't care for it. :) dpi not helping. Tried it 5 ways to Sunday...
