Happy National Lost Sock Memorial Day!
(Why in the world is this a thing?!)

Two quick questions today.
1. What are your socks of choice?
2. What do you do with your extra/mismatched socks?
 
1. What are your socks of choice?
I prefer no show socks. I currently buy the Puma brand from Costco that comes with black, gray and white pairs.

2. What do you do with your extra/mismatched socks?
I have a bucket that sits on my clothes dryer where singles go until I find the match. If I don’t find the match I use them as dust rags then throw them away or fill them with rice to make heat bags.
 
1. What are your socks of choice? Hanes white crew socks
2. What do you do with your extra/mismatched socks? I toss them in the appropriate drawer until the match shows up or I buy replacement socks. I hate matching socks ... so when I buy socks I buy 10-12 pairs and toss all the old socks in the trash. They are normally threadbare at that point.
 
1. I like fun socks, like these ones:

They make me smile, and it's easier to pair them after laundry.

2. I don't have many mismatched ones, because all are different and don't get mixed up. I simply keep them for a while, and then just put them in the fabric recycle bin.
 
Most of my socks are from John and Hank Green's Awesome Socks Club, of which 100% of their profits go to charity (like building a maternity hospital in Sierra Leone). They're great quality socks and fun!

Can't go wrong with some classic crew socks. Ours get threadbare too! I wear mine long after the first holes lol my kids usually have to beg me to throw them away.

I love that your sock purchases go to charity Michele. You and Cindy rock the fun socks together!
 
1. What are your socks of choice? Typically low cut but I love any with patterns or graphics. I think most are just from Target.
2. What do you do with your extra/mismatched socks? I hold onto them for a while... but I don't like wearing mismatched pairs.
 
1. ankle sports socks for my sneakers and a small trouser style sock. (very rarely wear as during the spring summer I wear my sandals / flip flops.
2. We don't have mismatched socks :) What goes in the washer/dryer, comes out. No stealing here :)
 
I only wear black or white socks made of bamboo. Love them but they take ages to dry.

Low cut here too. I don't like wearing mismatched either.

I bet the bamboo is good for your feet. That would drive me crazy to wait for them to dry.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who prefers no show socks. I definitely prefer no socks and flip flops but sometimes it's too cold for flip flops.

Just plain black wide top elastic - I hate having the circulation getting cut off by too tight socks

They go in a laundry basket on top of a cupboard and then when we have no socks, we play the matching game!
 
1. What are your socks of choice? Socks? I prefer barefoot when feasible. During Winter, here in Wisconsin I go with a light no-show sock or trouser sock(while at work).
2. What do you do with your extra/mismatched socks? Those mismatched socks get launched. :-)

2. What do you do with your extra/mismatched socks? I keep them in a basket on my dryer and every few months I go through them and if they still don't have a match, I throw them away.
