For the third summer in a row, I got a weird random rash. I went to the doctor and this year it's poison ivy. Most likely from the wood on our fire last Thursday night.

The doc gave me a steroid shot and pills, but what are your tried & true "cures" for the itch until the steroids kick in? I'm 'bout to lose it!!! :tantrum

I seem to react to everything, most recently to our new sunscreen. I had a lot of success with lavender oil.

My son just had that. Lesson learned, while playing disc golf do not poop in the woods. LOL! He took benadryl. It helped the itching and helped him sleep. Rashy butt and all!

She gave me lavender... and it's awesome. I love it. It took away the itch and is drying it out. She blended it with the purification oil- not sure what's in it.

Oh. My. Word. Your poor kid!!! LOL (Don't get me wrong- I'm totally laughing, though!)

We do Benadryl here. It's the only thing that helped our kids and my husband. I seem to not be allergic. (knock on wood)

No tips from me. I just get this pink cream from the doctor. Poison Ivy hates my hubby but eats me up. Last year I got it under my eye. Lovely. LOL!!
