So disappointed :(

Oh no, Laura. :( I'm sorry you have to cancel. I hope you can reschedule a trip soon. (((hugs)))

oh no!!! I am so sorry! hope your little one gets better soon and you can get out there to squeeze your Dad soon, too!

That really stinks... you have a right to be bummed for sure! Great news about your dad though!! :) Hope your munchkin is better soon and you can reschedule to celebrate in person!

I am so sorry Laura...I know you want to see your Dad. I wish your little one was feeling better, but it is out of your control. And if she is sick, your dad cannot be around her anyway. Hopefully you can reschedule the trip soon. Hugs.

So sorry to hear that. Hope your little one gets to feeling better soon :) and you get to see your dad soon too.

this is super no good. i am SO sorry to hear this! i know how much you must have been looking forward to seeing (and hugging) him.

Great news on your dad's health, but sad that you won't get to see him as soon as you had planned. {{HUGS}}

the Eeyore moment is very justified. What's that saying "Good things come to those that wait" so I'm sure once your little girl is better and you can go see your Dad it will be a Tigger moment

Aww honey, I can't imagine how hard that must be. The waiting and wondering and now not being able to go there to see for yourself. I hope that your daughter feels better soon and that you are able to give your Dad that big 'ole hug.

I'm so sorry Laura :( I hope that your daughter is feeling better soon and that you get to see your dad really soon.

I'm so sorry, Laura! I know that must be really hard! :(

Oh Laura, I know exactly what you're going through (went through it with my Mom a few years ago). Can it be rescheduled soon, when your daughter is feeling better? I'm sure your Dad will understand; after all, it's not like you've canceled because you need to get a manicure. However, I totally know that feeling when you're just aching to hug someone, both from relief and congratulations. Glad to know he's done with his treatments and I wish you all good health!
:heythere

p.s. I think the occasional Eeyore moment is really helpful because it purges out all the excess gunk. I love Kaye's idea of a "Tigger moment" too. :)
