So behind!

I think I've officially given up on weekly project life. It's just a lot of work for something I'm never going to print (and will probably never look at again). I'm going to stick with my monthly layout and my events layouts (getting a bunch of those printed made me a happy camper), but I'm throwing in the towel. I made it like 6 months longer than I thought I would.

I'm a few weeks behind (which bothers me so much -- ugh!), but I've made sure to add my photos and jot down what I want to put in the 3x4 slots. With my guest spot here this month as well as another short scrap-related thing, I've had to put PL on the back burner until next month to get those time-sensitive projects completed.

I've dialed back on embellishing my photos & cards because at the end of the day NO ONE cares abt the pretties except me. :giggle

Now that my daughter in school full-time and the baby is big enough to take two good solid naps during the day, I plan on catching back up come September so that I'm good to go before December. My PL ends at Thanksgiving because I do Countdown to Christmas (December Daily) as a separate album.

I don't even want to count how many weeks behind I am. I did promise myself that I would begin writing little weekly recaps again so that I would have a clue what went on that week. I am taking it as I go too, trying not to stress myself out, because this is supposed to be fun, right? :)

and 5 weeks in one day, wowzers!!

I'm about a year and a half behind. LOL. Not really, but I've still got weeks in 2013 I'm working on, and trying to squeeze in 2014 too. But I like doing it, so I'm not going to give up. I keep a running comp book journal and have everything written down. I just need to get busy and do it. I just have way too many supplies and get bogged down in trying to figure out what to use. That's why I love Just Jaimee's storytellers. I can just use the template, use all of the stuff from her bundle, and I don't have to think about it. LOL.

And I just found some girls online (FB group) who live near me, so we might get together to try to do some PL in person. I do mine digi, but it might be good to get together with them anyway.

Good for you in catching up and doing so many weeks at once!

This sounds so fun. I'd love to meet up with scrappers IRL... or maybe we should have a PL catch up party in the chat room around here one day :). Wheels turning...
