We were blasted with snow yesterday so I have a very important snow-related question today.
Mittens or gloves?

Definitely not a typical winter. But when it is cold I like both, it just depends on what I am doing.Hybrid sounds like a great idea! I'll have to look for those. We don't get snow here enough to worry about it, but I do have ski gloves that are hybrid mitten/gloves that I love, so both, I guess.
I'm sorry you're stuck with gross snow Kari! Stay safe and warm!We been blasted the last few days too we are up to...mmm.. 15 inches of snow now? Or 16? 17? I domt know I lost count...and it's still snowing..and we have ice too.. like icky eww ice under it.. it's nasty ..my hubby stayed home yesterday cause we got the worse of it and he works 45 mins away and didn't want to risk killing himself in the white out conditions ... mostly with all the ice under the snow with his muststang even with the winter tires ...
And my car is not reliable at all as it is slowly dying and a piece of crap mobile as I call it
Ohhh and I prefer ..mittens. wool most of the time...but gloves for typing on the phone.. but mittens are warmer ..my grandma use to make the cutest out of old sweaters every year for Christmas gifts and i still own a bunch and cherish them...
Ohh and snow is gross.. enough said
As I was shoveling my heart out yesterday I realized I haven't had to shovel this much since we moved to this house in 2016. Crazy year.We have had NONE this year! Very odd.
Gloves! Def.
Good idea to drive with gloves for better grip. These days I don't go out in the snow but when I still worked and would have to drive, it was always gloves so I could grip the steering wheel better.
And, it is 63 degrees here today... definitely not a normal February temperature!
Fingerless is smart for when the fingers don't quite fit!No snow here but when its cold enough I wear fingerless gloves otherwise as my hands are too small the fingers of the gloves/mittens end up miles too big
You sound like you've got the right idea Eva. I grew up with mittens but we don't own any now! I need to remedy that so we have more options.I have both mittens and gloves. Several. Depending how cold it is, you need at least 3 of each, so that you can chose accordingly.
When I was little I would always wear mittens and gloves to ski. It worked very well.I have Reynard's and need two layers, so mittens over gloves is my preference. Two pairs of gloves is too bulky on the fingers.
