Hello Everyone. How is your December starting out? We celebrated our son's Birthday remotely yesterday - his first one away from home. That felt really strange.

For our pad patter today I'm taking inspiration from a past post on the Lilypad Blog. Tell us something that makes you stop and smile.

Today seeing my husband writing in the Christmas cards I made ready to post them made me smile. I always like to see the work of my hands being used.
 
My son had his big group of friends come over last night and I love listening to them chatting together and having fun! Always makes me smile.
 
I have a 6 year old student who has an amazing knowledge of geography, one of my favorite subjects, and we were talking about it again this afternoon. His enthusiasm for it makes me smile.
 
What makes me stop and smile?? When my godchild sends a photograph or a little video of her 2,5-year-old son. That always lights up my day. He's so cute and at times a little naughty.
 
Many things! My kids, my husband, my friends, my kids friends, their shenanigans, silly meme's.... I could go on! I am always one to look for the bright side, and laugh when I can! It makes me happy!
