Hello hello ladies!!!!

Hope you will join us in the chat room in about half an hour (17:25 for me here in London, meaning 35 minutes to the chat time!!!)

This is a slow scrap so, if you can't join us in the chat, you can still make a page and post in the gallery and in this thread until tomorrow 03/19th at 3pm EST

I will be posting directions to the contents of the page here during the chat.

Every page finished will receive a very nice coupon tomorrow!!!!!!!

you can follow the instructions or make a page telling me what The Lilypad community means to you, or telling us a story about any friendships or your general story in the community, no need to follow the steps if you choose that :)

your page should have

3 BACKGROUND PAPERS can be stacked or split in different parts of the page.

UP TO 4 PHOTOS if you don’t want to scrap photos, you can use journal cards, dolls, faces or ephemera.

3 PIECES OF STRING OR DOODLED LINES OR MESSY STITCHING LAYERED UNDER YOUR PHOTO/S just peeking out from under

3 buttons

MINIMUM 3 ELEMENTS PER PHOTO - if you have one photo, 3 elements, if you have two photos 6 elements and so on.
you cab add more if you want to.

AT LEAST ONE LINE OF JOURNALING PER PHOTO YOU USE.

A PIECE OF WORD ART

A TITLE made with AN ALPHA pr more


PAGES SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY TOMORROW 3PM EST- POSTED IN THE GALLERY AND IN THIS THREAD.


Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery. GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed.

Sorry I missed the chat, one phonecall from a family member and all the plans I made derailed.
I will try and play along tomorrow morning my time. Sounds like a fun slow scrap.
 
@MrsPeel - Sorry I missed the chat. Questions: Are the 3 elements per photo in addition to the string and the buttons or can they count? Are there to be 3 strings under each photo or is it 3 strings for the page?
 
Here is mine! Fun scrap Cynthia.. thank you!

  • 3 bg papers (black, white and pattern)
  • up to 4 photos (4 b/w)
  • 3 buttons (green)
  • 3 strings under photos
  • 3 elements per photo... [Green doily, green tied string and staple on 3 photos, and 2 staples and 1 straw heart recolored orange.]
  • one line journaling for each photo (4 lines)
  • 1 word art (look at that)
  • Title including an alpha
  • flowers and dotted line to mimic stitching are my extras
(staples are mine)

can a speed scrap LO also be used as Monthly Challenge LO? Someone let me know, please, and I can make another SS LO!

@MrsPeel I just did such a dumb-dumb thing. I did your slow scrap page with a FF product so I can't post it until late tomorrow. ufff....

Ingredients:

  • 2 strings + 1 stitch under each photo
  • 3 elements per photo... [1 butterfly + 1 plus sign element + 2 flowers each]
  • one line journaling for each photo [2 lines]
  • 1 word art [on this day]
  • title including an alpha [collect moments]
  • 1 cork banner extra

@3BluEyedBabies I am afraid not...... I know you can use the scrap chats for the Love Our Designers, but the challenges need to be a separate page, as far as I remember..... maybe wrong, let me find out later when the people who would know (without me with my neurological impairments going through the forum years back!) are awake :)

@MrsPeel You are correct. One per each. 1 layout for the Monthly Challenge and 1 layout for the Slow/Speed Scrap, they cannot be combined :)
