When you get sick what is your self care routine for feeling better?

1: Rest
2: Pain killers or other necessary medications
3: Easy to prepare/eat food and drink

1. Nap early in the day. (I only nap when I’m sick.)
2. Drown a cold by drinking as much water as possible even though I don’t feel like it.

Getting enough sleep, eating smaller meals often, sitting in the sun.

I tend to take a few days off throughout the year to just veg at home, and take a day off. These are unplanned. I think that helps me mentally, and I rarely am really sick. I do this for my kids and school at times too.

When I do get sick, I take over the counter medicines, go to bed earlier. I may nap, but that is unusual. I tend to work through it if it's something I'm on medication for, or if it's just a cold. If it's more, I'll take the time to slow down, rest and recuperate.

Thankfully, I rarely get sick. When I do, I'm really sick ... usually I push fluids and sleep it off.

Lots of naps
Hot baths
Chocolate
Netflix or documentary
Snuggles with Neelix
Heated blankets
Ice cream
Soup
Naps
Pj's
Meds
Being a crabby b*tch

Ps... this is all me right now... and the last one is about right.. Eric says he barely can stand me..lol
I hate being sick
And right now I am pretty darn right sick

Think sicker than I've been in ages. ..

I’m a big baby so I usually spend a lot of time in bed. I really like chicken soup or broth when I’m sick too.

I very rarely get sick but when I do I am really sick.

I try to get on with it when I am sick but I know when to listen to my body and rest. My self care routine is:
1 Rest
2 Painkillers / medication if needed
3 Wrap up in a warm blanket and watch Netflix in between sleeping

When I'm sick, I drink apple cider vinegar and sleep a lot!! Seems to do the trick.
