I've been quietly playing along with P365 and am managing to keep up so far - whoo! This is much better than I thought I would do :giggle

I was wondering what everyone plans to do with their photos - are you going to scrap them? A huge part of the appeal of the whole project for me is to have a book made up at the end of the year, only now I am having a huge dilemma over what size / shape to go for! I need to scrap them as I go along (otherwise I know it will never get done!) so please help me decide how to do it! Any advice would be gratefully received :)

I have templates from LDD (and Gina's are tempting me too!). But I think I'm just going to keep up my separate blog with each entry containing the photo and a blurb about the day. Then at the end of the year I'm thinking of having a blurb book made. But then again, I have these templates and I really like to see my work as I go. So I have no idea what I'm doing. LOL!

Ha ha! I've been looking at Blurb too, at the moment I am leaning towards the 8x10 book. I'm thinking that 8x8 is too small for 7 pictures on a page and 12x12 is just too big! I'm really tempted to try rectangle scrapping, I've never done that before!

i think i have prety much switched to the rectangle pages. if you do try i think the difference is a bit of a mojo kick.

Yeah, that's what I thought Lori, the rectangle pages should help give me a bit of a creative boost! Or just stress me out totally, not sure which yet.... :giggle

Come on everyone, don't be shy, there must be some P365 layouts out there somewhere!!

lol can i start a few days late and fudge about 1/2 of january?????

Yes! That's what I did. I started about a week and a half into January, I had some pics from some of the days, and then just got creative with the missing days...:lol

Okay, this is how horrible I am about thinking outside the box - it never occurred to me to switch to 8x10, and I was having a really hard time fitting 7 photos on a square page, so I'm scrapping by week, and doing 6 per page:

sweet. i think i will get my butt in gear and do it FINALLY. i'd love to have a hardbound book at the end of the year. no scrapping, just throwing them into templates.

That's exactly what I want to do too Amy, so I planned ahead for margins and binging space!

And actually, as I think about it, I need to switch my pages every other week left to right if I really want the book to look right

I haven't scrapped any of my pages yet, eeeek I should really get that started. I think I am just going to lift one of Crystals pages it rocked and I am not feeling very creative.

I think I am going to use a different blocky style page and different neutral colors bg for each month. So that it all flows but yet is different. I don't nkow..lol I might just grab some storyboards and print them into a photo book, lol Either way, at the end of the year I will be getting some kind of hard bound book. I never have and I feel like I would have earned it, lol

ooooh that sounds like a great idea Crystal :) I've already planned on lifting you haha I love your layout and dont think i can come up with anything even remotely good on my own.

I like the idea of different colors for different months Crystal! I just might have to do a little adjustment to mine!

Oooh, these are all great! Thank you for sharing - I have mine mocked up now (I changed my mind again and went for square pages!!)

Crystal, I have to know what font you used for the journalling! It's so cute!

i should do this too. Last year I did not complete my 365 and I think it was because I was making weekly pages so I decided not to commit to them this year. I should do some simple ones though so I dont have a mess at the end of the year.
