Terri got me thinking about what other hobbies you gals do. I know she sews and makes quilts and she has the coolest picture of her and her niece (right?). So what is your other hobby or hobbies and show me something you have done.
 
I'll go first. I have sewn since I was 7 years old, my mom let me move to machine sewing when I was 9. I did my own PROM dress. I don't do it much because B likes to be in t-shirts and jeans. Of course every year Halloween is my time to get my groove on.... I didn't make the shirt not worth it, but I made the WW logo and I am working on her crown, belt, cuffs, etc.

My other hobbies are reading (doubt you want to see a picture of my Nook) and I also make jewelry, although I haven't done much of that lately. I also crochet on occasion too. And sometimes I make tiny little hand-sewing project like this:



I'm definitely a craft dabbler. :)
 
We're supposed to have OTHER hobbies? ;) I play the piano (when I'm stressed mostly) and like to read. My other main hobby, though is photography. I particularly love macro stuff.

I have nothing to show...

I'm a fangirl and have a tumblr, which is eating all of my time. And then I'm writing fan fiction, which is taking the rest of my time. And then I have four kids, of course... which means I'm more or less a nervous breakdown waiting to happen.
 
Karen, I can relate. I am a craft dabbler too! :giggle
That is one adorable phone cover. Super cute... especially like the hand stitching!
 
Oh fun. I am sort of just finding out about tumblr. I'm kind of one of those on the slow techie track. hahahaha

I have always been a reader, but don't consider it a hobby. It's more of a necessity. :) I am a craft dabbler as Karen mentioned above. I was originally a paper scrapbooker, so I still use my massive paper supplies on occasion and have even done a few hybrid projects recently, though I need to resolve my ink issues at the moment. I enjoy writing. I especially like fancy lettering. I also doodle (you should see my shopping lists) and paint. This led to art journaling and more currently smashbooking. Sewing is down there on the list. It is moving further down lately as I don't have a permanent place to set up my machine, so I have to move it around a lot. That is too much work for a quick project.
 
My other main hobby is photography. Although a lot of what I do is landscape/travel stuff...my favorite thing to shoot is in old decrepit buildings. If it's peeling and creepy, I want to shoot it.

Besides digi scrappin' hey?... Well, I luv staying fit and work out regularly, and in addition I luv photography too!

Scrapping is the first hobby I have had that consumes me in such a great way...my other "hobby" having people over to eat food I prepare!! Having so many in our family, we like to have 50 or more people once a month and feed them new things!! It is a blast! I love streamlining and making it easy for clean up, so the time eating and laughing goes longer!
I get recipes for Army and Navy chow halls and dress them up a bit...so fun!!

and I also have turned into one of those weird exercise people...love feeling that burn in my muscles after a good work out! That felt weird even typing!
 
wow, i wish I would share both of those hobbies with you! Cooking and working out. :-) :-) I'm still waiting for a sign that makes me exercise. if I keep eating sweets I'm sure I'll get one next time I look at the scales, :-).
 
What are other hobbies???? I guess I mostly like to collect things like postcards or nerdy pop culture stuff (art prints, funko pop figures, toys). I like making crafty stuff - the easy things that you find in the kids' section mostly! I just made this for my sister because it is adorable.



I like to make things like this when I'm watching TV because they are easy. When I really have time, I like to make Christmas ornaments, frames, gifty things, stuff like this...



 
Wowza! You seriously rock the macro shots. Those are beautiful! I REALLY hope that you have your entire house wallpapered with your own photos!
