Unfortunately my computer suddenly broke down two weeks ago :cry and now I have to get a new one. I love Mac so I am buying an iMac Mini but I also need a screen!!!!

What would you suggest? My last screen was 27 inches and I don't want any smaller.

I love a nice big screen too! If you're getting a 27" monitor, just make sure you get the higher resolution (2560x1440). They are a bit more expensive, but if you don't get that higher resolution you will definitely notice the difference in Photoshop! My last one was an AOC brand and I've been happy with that. I have also had Dell monitors in the past too and have always been happy with those as well.

Here's a link to the last one I bought in 2018 for reference and it's still going strong!

My main monitor is an ASUS. I like it so much that when my last one broke, I just went on Amazon and bought the exact same one again. LOL DH also has the same one. This the one we have, although it doesn't look like it's available anymore.

If you have a store near you with lots of monitors on display, I'd highly recommend going and seeing what you like, since preferences can be very subjective. Not quite the same thing, but DH loves his giant curved screen 4K TV, but I can't watch the darn thing; it gives me terrible headaches.

I'm of no help really because mine is a second hand monitor that's I think either 23 or 24".

I do second what @KimJ says....for me going to the monitor I have was an upgrade as I had been using a 15.6" laptop screen for years but in your case my set up would likely be a downgrade given you are used to 27".

I had 2 ViewSonic 22" monitors, one an older model than the other. The old one started going out in Nov 2022 so instead of buying another ViewSonic of the same size, I just bought 2 new monitors of the same brand and the size is 24". They are GTek monitors, each less than $100. I found that even though I had 2 of the same brand, the colors were off no matter how much I adjusted them since they were not the same model numbers. I haven't had that problem with the GTek monitors. I love having 2 screens. It is hard for me to use my laptop anymore!
