Scraplift

I know!!!! I have saved so many!! I love the artsy quality of the pages here - so different from other sites. I feel like I'm sitting at the feet of masters!

 

I know, right? Talent abounds here, that's for sure....both in the designers and the members!

 

I've never seen anything like it! The talent here is amazing!!

 

You are so smart! I just admire them all and then forget which ones I wanted to lift.

 

i agree - the gallery is always inspiring but even more so in Jan!

 

Too many... like all the books I want to read!

 

I always feel guilty scraplifting, although I always give credit where credit is due. I try to change things around and make it my own I just don't have an imagination for creating. The gallerys are my favorite for inspirations.

 

I love scraplifting! I’ve learned so many techniques by copying the masters!!!

 

I do not really do much Scraplifting but I want to just give those who do a little warning... remember do not scraplift a page that has used a Template unless you own the template as well. It is not fair on the designer of the template to just completely scraplift a page that has used a template.

 

Hummm, never though about that. Yes, you are using a template that you didn't purchase. Thanks for the heads up Anne-Marie.

 

For me scraplifting is for inspiration, not to copy the layout. So maybe I'll try the way items are clustered, a colour scheme, a topic or theme, or the photo style etc, or be inspired to go find and use a kit or a template from the store.

 

I agree, Angela. I don't think I have ever copied exactly another layout unless its a challenge to do so. I always look for something in the layout to inspire me. And there is SOOOO much inspiration out there!!

These are good thoughts. I too don't copy a page- I use it as a springboard. Templates I don't buy- I like to use my own thoughts. This gallery is by far the best available!

 

I do have a few scrapbooking boards on my Pinterest and sometimes I use as an inspiration, but most of the pages I pin are from paper artists, and if the page is almost the same I do credit the original version.
but most of the time I use for inspiration of layers, design, not the whole thing...

 

oh, forgot to add, of course sometimes I save pages from here, the talent from our gallery just blow my mind!
