That's crazy! A Family Resemblance? Maybe there's some shared grandparents?

It's not really likely as we're not really Radtkes. My husband's family is Polish and his great grandfather (?) changed it to something more German sounding during the war (something about not being able to get a job or a particular job with a Polish last name).

I've had 4 different last names in my life: ross, crowell, farris, and lee. All of them relatively common. My first name, Kristina, is more popular, too.
My middle name is (I thought) uncommon. And then in high school I met one other girl with my Middle name, and she used it as her first name (she didn't like her first name).
There are several Kristina Lee s about the internet, in various professions. Probably even Kristina L Lee, but probably not many, if any, with my actual middle name. (LaRee)

I have a coworker that has had the identity theft issue with her name... every single year she has to file a police report, and can't file her taxes until she does. The other person is using her ssn to work at different places. So, she's receiving an income. For whatever reason, the police can't ever find her (the 'theif') at the place of work....

I've always gone by my full name, such that friends are surprised when I tell them "Ann" is my middle name. "Ruth Ann" or "Ruthann" is a combination more common with the older generation, so I've only met two other people who go by that. One girl about my age (although she is "Ruthanne") and an older lady who went by first - middle like me.

I've never met anyone with the exact same full name, but Google says they're a few out there! Mainly in the Midwest and older. There seem to be more with my married name too. Also, both my married last name and maiden name are town names, so lots of results pop up for "Ruthann" from "Last name town".

That is just craziness!!!!

That's crazy! Too bad she can't get a new ssn?

My maiden name was Kelly Taylor-- back during the 90s, Jennie Garth played a character named Kelly Taylor on the show Beverly Hills 90210. I always got comments about not looking like "Kelly Taylor", and quite a few times people started calling me Brenda (Shannen Doherty's character's name from 90210), but I don't think I looked like Shannen either. Just had brown hair, as opposed to the blonde of Jennie's character. Now, I have a much more unusual last name, and there are (last I checked) no one else in our state with our last name, except for my husband, kids and me.

So as you might imagine, other LeeAndras are few and far between. I was never LeeAndra Last Initial in school, and I still think it's so weird when people have friends with the same name as them. I purposely gave my daughter a unique name and now she has chosen to go by a very common nickname, and it kinda drives me crazy.

However, there actually was another Leandra in my very small 200 person church growing up. She was one of the adult advisors in my confirmation group.

I'm friends with another Leandra on Facebook, too, just because she was friends with a friend of mine and I thought it would be cool to have a FB friend with my name.

My first name is pretty unique. But my parents choose the name after getting to know a woman that changed her first name from Bernique to Berniek. So even though there were only a handful of Berniek's when I was growing up, I was living in the same town with one of them. ;)
Then my last name isn't common either. The combination of both of my names is just going to be me. I don't have to google it. I did it anyway and yep, just me.
