Happy Monday ladies. I hope your day has started well. Our's started early as the youngest has a longer than normal school day due to dance practical exams this week that they are not yet ready for.

In the house all should have been quiet, except the washing machine is broken again and out of warranty. Fortunately there are sales on today, so that will reduce the cost of replacing it. My husband is doing dome research right now.

Do you shop sales all the time, or only when you need things? Do you hold off on purchases waiting for the sales?
 
I am always looking for the best deals, so much so I hardly buy anything at full retail price unless I have to.
 
I'm always looking for the sales! I have downloaded the app for the stores that I frequent and will clip coupons or look for deals. I even look for the brands on sale at the grocery store.
 
Always looking for sales! I also use Rakuten and try to find the best cash back offers wherever I am shopping.
Bummer about your washing machine! I hope you get a great deal on replacing it!
 
I've been shopping second hand for clothes, shoes, home decor, furniture, office supplies, etc. for many years now. Nowadays, it's mostly books, home decor, and furniture that I look for at estate sales, antique malls, and thrift stores.

My niece is awesome about sharing her clothes when she cleans out her closet, so I am able to get about 80% of my clothes for free. I will wait for sales for intimates, shoes, jeans, purses, etc.

If I need something in a pinch, like a major appliance, I do try to buy those things brand new and I'll search for sales. Usually there's always SOME kind of discount available, but I'm OK with purchasing at a higher price if I can justify how long the appliance will last and how much I will pay per day/month/year.

I absolutely cringe when I have to buy makeup at full price, but I've had to do it from time to time because I ran out of something.
 
I hope you’re able to get a new washing machine soon Angela. I remember washing our laundry in the sink when ours broke and it was terrible!

I prefer to shop during sales so I get the best deal but sometimes I can’t wait and will pay the current price.
 
Sorry to hear about the washer. This is a good time to buy with all of the sales.

For me, yes, I always look for sales. I don't go clothes shopping that often but when I do I go straight to the back with all of the clearance stuff before I even look at the new stuff up front.
