When you say "salad" in English, do you mean a main course (or maybe a starter) or a side dish? This has always confused me, because it's the same word in Swedish, and I never know what people refer to when they say salad.
As a main course I love any salad with feta cheese, either classical Greek salad or maybe a pasta salad. I never follow a recipe for a main course salad, I just use whatever I have at hand. Feta, veggies, olives, and maybe some fruit.
As a side dish I love to make a salad called "Treveckorssallad", which means Three Week Salad, cuz it's alleged to keep for 2 weeks in the fridge. However ... I've never heard of anyone that's made it and it lasted that long. Found a similar recipe in English here:

It takes a bit of time to do, but then you have a salad for a couple of days. (Usually about a week in this house.)
