I had orthodics made for my shoes - no arch and one leg is shorter than the other. Made a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference in my running. Went from pain and aches all the time to no problems at all. They took a few weeks to come in, they made a mold of my foot and then when they came in took my running shoes and then cut them to make sure they fit them. You take out the insert that the shoes come with. I take them out of my running shoes and put them in my everyday normal shoes, basically wearing them all the time. They cost about $300, but insurance covered mine. They have last a few years - my podiatrist said they look great still at my last check up(have had them 1 1/2 years) You have to wean yourself on them at first. an hour at first, then 2, then start running in them...... Hope you love yours as much as I love mine.
