Routine or more lack of routine has got me in a mess this week so I'm a bit later here this week than I'd hoped (after I checked what day of the week it was....it's been that kind of week!)

Do you have a routine you try and stick to?

Does it vary depending on what day it is?

Do you thrive on routine or prefer to fly by the seat of your pants?

Do you have a routine you try and stick to?
A very loose routine yes but nothing concrete. Generally involves waking up, breakfast (or usually brunch cause I'm not a morning person), checking personal emails, TLP, Facebook, job hunting sites, job email account. After that really depends on other deadlines. The only other routine I have is I tend to do my job applications and any scrapping later in the afternoon/early evening.

Does it vary depending on what day it is?
Not really, the only thing I don't do on the weekend is check jobs but I'm still often applying for them over the weekend as jobs often close on Sundays

I would say I manage better with a routine but does said routine get followed...kind of!

Yes my life is pretty routine. Get up, exercise, get kids to school, run errands/get nothing done, kids come home, go to sports, go to bed.

Does it vary depending on what day it is?
Yes I do a different work out each day and the sports are different every day so there is variation.

I need routine and get grumpy easily when I have to adjust my routine.

Pretty routine...work, dinner, dishes, maybe some laundry, and then a little chill time before bed

Does it vary depending on what day it is?
No work on the weekend but I typically clean house on Sat, visit my mom on Sun, and sometimes sneak in a nap lol
It's also different in the summer when I'm not working, but I still have somewhat of a routine. I tend to do the chores in the morning and then fun stuff in the afternoon.

I am much more productive with a routine, but it doesn't always work out that way

Do you have a routine you try and stick to? Not really.
Does it vary depending on what day it is? Everything is more relaxed on the weekend because I'm not working.
Do you thrive on routine or prefer to fly by the seat of your pants? Somewhere inbetween. I like some loose structure, but do not get upset if things aren't scheduled.

Do you have a routine you try and stick to?
yes, but with all these kids & their schedules, change and unexpected things are bound to happen. I try to do certain things certain days of the week so that consistency keeps me honest (for example, laundry on Mon/Thurs, bathrooms on Mondays, clean floors & water plants on Fridays, Costco on Thursdays, etc)

Does it vary depending on what day it is?
Yes, I work Tuesdays/Wednesdays, so I'm not easily reachable or able to do anything until after work, so sometimes my work evenings are a lot more busy than my day off evenings.

I would say that I am more of a routine person, but as I've gotten older (wiser? care less? who knows) I've definitely relaxed in more areas than this one!

Do you have a routine you try and stick to? I don't have a planned routine. I think when you work everyday, there becomes a routine of sorts to be able to do the things you need to. I don't have kids in sports etc. But my weekdays are pretty routine, work-home-dinner-relax-repeat

Does it vary depending on what day it is?
Weekends are the only variation for me. Try to fit something creative or fun in and Basic things need to get done every weekend, laundry, cleaning, errands. But no routine to them except getting them done. lol

Somewhere in the middle. To be able to get all the things life demands you have to create some type of normalcy of routine. But I'm not upset or angry if routines don't fall in line every time.

I have to say I have a loose routine that I stick to. There’s parts of it if it deviates it throws me off and there’s other parts I’m like yeah it’s OK. Overall, I very much tend to be a creature of habit.

Does it vary depending on what day it is? This really depends on what day it is… regardless getting up and going to bed is all about the same thing on the weekend. It’s definitely a little more lax on Fridays and Saturdays. Sunday, I tend to be way more structured because I’m gearing up for the week.

For vacation oh, it’s definitely fly by the seat of my pants for normal every day life, I tend to like a little more structure

I definitely prefer routine. I am a planner and like to know what to expect, so last minute plan changes get me all out of sorts.

I do well with routine but I also loved the freedom of being a homeschooling mom. Back then, the structure of our days was dictated by our homeschool group activity schedule and dance/music/drama classes/meetings, but other than that we were easygoing. Now I work a full time job, in a school, so it extremely structured and full of routines. It's nice when routine is set and you don't have to think much about it anymore; just do it.

Of course my weekends are not as structured, but I do have my regular morning walk/hike and try to get most of my food prep for the week done on Saturdays. Other than that, I spend a lot of time relaxing, recovering from work. I'm happy to be spontaneous.
