How do you remind yourself of stuff? Do you Post It note? Do you phone alarm? Do you digital calendar? Do you planner?

I do a combination. I write it in my planner. But if it's super duper important, like being a chat host, I also set a phone alarm. I don't want to miss it! If it's something that DH needs to know, I add it to Google Calendar.

How do you remind yourself?

Sometimes I just miss stuff. :angry
The time change and daylight savings got me again!
I should set an alarm on my phone, but everyone's home and chilling and I forgot.

I put things on the calendar and in my phone. I also set the timer on the stove, especially when I'm on carpool duty so I don't forget to go pick up kids. Been.there.done.that!

I have sticky notes all over my computer (not real ones; the computer ones) I have now learned how to set the alarm on my phone! About time! Also have a big calendar in the kitchen that slaps me in the face every morning to remind me to look at it!!!

Since I started bullet journaling I only use that. If it is something super important and for a definite time and I do NOT want to miss it I might set a phone alarm (which I then miss because the phone is in another room). So, BJ it is.

I'm a long time sticky note user but that is fading now as I begin to use digital calendar, notes, and reminders more and more. I still like to write things in a paper desk calendar though, for sentimental reasons and future reference.

The first digital thing I started using regularly, soon after I got my first smartphone 3 years ago, was the phone alarm. I have lots of them. Besides for waking up, I set alarms for taking medicine, cooking (like remembering I wanted to put a stew in the crockpot), picking up my kids from their activities, and going to those activities!

Since last year I've been making more regular use of the Reminders and Notepad apps. One really cool thing about the Reminder app (iPhone default app) is not only can you set it to remind you at a certain date and time, you could also set it to remind you at a certain PLACE.

And finally, also just in the last several months, I've been gradually shifting to making my digital calendar my main calendar, while the paper one is just because it's easier to access when I'm home, more flexible, and easier to look back at past events.

I have tried to use my phone and digital reminders, but it just doesn't work for me. I'm a write it down gal. I have post its everywhere and also a planner at home and one at work.

I use Google calendar and get alerts in the morning and I also set alarms, multiple if needed. If it's really, really important and I'm going to be at my desk, I'll also use post it notes (the old fashioned kind). LOL

I'm old school. I like to write things down. I have a calender upstairs and down and also a big desk calendar that I jot notes on. My hubs uses his phone alert to notify him of appts and events but I never think to use mine.

I use an online calendar, but print out the new week each Sunday. The printout sits on my kitchen counter and I scribble on it. Otherwise, I am a Post-It note kind of girl. I usually stick them to my computer. I have one right now that says, "Hang with Kaye this Saturday?" And then I have another to remind me to take a photo of DD for her ACT test registration.

I like the online calendar because I can access it on my phone - and my kids can also check it from their phones. My shopping list lives there too. DD adds stuff she wants to it, usually fruit.

We are big oven timer people too!! @keepscrappin

At work, I use a lot of post it notes. They're on my phone (people to call), my computer monitor (things to do), by my bag (things to bring home, shopping list), etc. For personal stuff, like appointments, I use the digital calendar and reminders/alarms on my phone.

EVERYTHING goes in my Google calendar so I can see it all on my phone. Then I set a bajillion alarms on my phone to remind me of all the pick ups for my kids. Other things I will email myself and leave the email unread until I do whatever task. Between those three things I do pretty well. :)

I don't know how I survived without my iPhone. I add everything to my calendar, set at least 2 reminders, and even invited people (like my husband or daughters) if they are coming with me.

At home I use sticky notes - at work everything is in Outlook - tasks, meetings, reminders, etc.

I have a combo system too. I write immediate things on my notebook on my desk and I use the Cozi app for appointments and birthdays.

I'm usually ok in my mind and on my iMac calendar which synchs to my phone. However, this week I found that everything in my house seems a mess and so does my mind. Right now I am mentally very disorganized. So...I went back to a paper list of all the things I want to get done so I can cross things off. I like that feeling and I suspect that I'll be with a daily paper list for a couple of weeks at least.

Oh I need all the help I can get to remember things these days! My methods are:

-I am a huge planner girl. Have everything but the kitchen sink in my planner. So much stuff goes in that thing, that sometimes I have to look hard to find it all ... but at least I know it is all there.

-I use my iCalendar to mark down appointments for the entire family - when we have somewhere to be - and then it's useful bc when I'm at the Dr or whatever and need to schedule a new appointment - I have it all handy on my iPhone. I don't like to cart the planner around/it is just for my desk.

-AND ... I do set reminders on my iPhone for important things I cannot forget as well.

where do I start

- paper diary
- scraps of paper at times
- google calendar
- notes on iphone for groceries
- iphone alarms
- fitbit silent alarms
