So inquiring minds want to know...Okay maybe I want to know, what is the strangest thing you currently have now or have had in your refrigerator? I personally have some smoked sausages I bought at Sam's club that looked like a great idea to buy, but turned out tasting awful. Hubby said you know you won't eat those. Sure I will. I did not. I am currently waiting to toss them out when hubby is out of town in a couple of weeks. They are dried and cured, so they won't go bad. I honestly do not want to hear I told you...

I also have some aloe. Because for a sungurn cold aloe feels great.

So do you have anything strange in your fridge?

Nothing too strange I don’t think. Probably strangest thing is lactose free milk and probiotic yogurt

Hmm, maybe kefir which I made for my doggy’s tummy issues. Also sourdough starter. I guess I have more weird DIY fermented stuff than most. :giggle

So do you have anything strange in your fridge?

Yes. NOTHING. :giggle

Our refrigerator died over the weekend, and we can't get someone out that works on our type of fridge until Friday! The lights are on, but nobody's home.

And no, it's not clean because I'm not cleaning it until after it's been repaired. Or we might find out that it's not worth repairing. It **is** 18 years old. I'm dreaming of a french door fridge, with the extra drawer and filtered water in the door . . .

I have some hot Italian sausages that I bought by mistake. They were supposed to be mild - and we all don’t like super spicy things!!

aloe and green tea gel in the fridge are normal to me (aussie summer life) - what's weird (and most annoying) to me is the amount of condiments - like seriously why can't all recipes use the same type of mustard? i stopped buying 'hotdog/US mustard' but we still have Dijon, wholegrain and Hot English - or is that normal?!

Nothing too strange I don't think. Maybe the red pepper jelly I received for a Christmas gift? It's spicy AND sweet, but I rather like it. Or maybe the homemade tartar sauce that I mix up for our fish fry dinners? (mayo and sweet pickle relish)

I too have about 4 or 5 kinds of mustard. WHY!?!?! :giggle I don't use all those random kinds for anything else other than a tiny teaspoon occasionally in a recipe, so why can't they sell tiny little packets of those mustards so I don't have to store that many bottles in my fridge?

Ohhhh! What a bummer. Hope you had somewhere to store your food. The dream fridge IS amazing. My sister has one. Hers has a second door within the door that lets you get frequently used items.

She had just gotten in last May when we visited. I left drooling and made a mental note of it (the fridge).

Weird stuff? Umm, if you count the freezer as a part of the fridge, well, our littles put snow in ziplocs and its in the fridge. Don't blame them, they only see snow once every 2 or so years with this year being the exception of two snowfalls in two weeks.

We have a bunch of little packets of Chick-fil-A sauce and ranch. Other than that just the usual refrigerator stuff.

Way too many condiments ... mine are tomato-y ... Chic Fil A sauce, multiple BBQ sauces, hot sauces, mayo and Miracle Whip, salad dressings (French, Vidalia Onion, etc.).

We have three coolers holding what we wanted to keep. It's been a long time since we cleared out the fridge, so it was good timing to go through all the condiments and odd stuff in the freezer. I think we'll make it until Friday. It's like after a hurricane . . .

Yeah, that type of fridge can range from $4,000 upwards to $8,000. I'm really wanting the extra drawer, but I think we'll be getting one that's a bit more reasonable in price. LOL

Hot tip…. My sister served the sweet, hot pepper jelly with cottage cheese. It was delish!

Yes, she got hers on sale for 3k, which she can afford bc she is an Exec. For missionary-minded me, probably not gonna happen unless we get a huge settlement, LOL! We once lived out of coolers for about 2 weeks while waiting for a fridge in a new house. Not fun. But you learn that you can do much more than one thinks!

Yes, living without power and having to have coolers and cords running everywhere from a generator and having to take cold showers . . . I learned I could do it, but I didn't enjoy it. LOL It DOES make you appreciate the luxuries even more.

Can't think of anything weird in my refrigerator right now. I went to the grocery today for a few things to get me through the next 5 days of rain/wintry mix/ice/snow and cold temps. Just praying the power doesn't go out since I have no fireplace and live in an all electric house. But on the flip side if the power does go out, I could just put necessary items from the refrigerator outside (my Dr Pepper).

nothing strnage, but stuff that none of my friends locally ahve in there's - the top rack on the fridge door is full of insulin.

I'd loved a fridge with the french doors on top, snack drawer in the middle, and the freezer on the bottom, but my 1956 kitchen has a very small fridge spot. Not only is it fairly narrow, the wall cabinets on top restrict the height, so my choices are pretty limited. Then again, that keeps me from spending a fortune for a fridge, lol!!!

My 1964 kitchen even after a remodel just isn't made for a huge refrigerator. Especially since I kept the refrigerator in the same spot it was before. The remodel was basically getting new cupboards and flooring. My cousin has one like you mentioned in her house (came with the house when she bought it in 2018). And, there is a small island in the middle of her kitchen right in front of the refrigerator. You have to stand to the side to pull out the freezer or snack drawer.

You can see in this layout where my refrigerator is in relation to the door. The wall on the right now has cabinets that I added later. There is 32 inches between the refrigerator and the cabinets to walk through. On the other side of that wall is the basement stairs.

Rene ... my kitchen is galley-style. It's 13' long, but approximate 7' of that length is only 6' wide. At one end it widens out, but the side door opens into the kitchen, directly opposite is the door to the basement steps and on the other wall is the entrance to the dining/living room. That opening used to have a swinging door, but someone took it down. I replaced the basement door with a bi-fold door. All of my appliances run down the one wall ... stove, counter, sink, counter, fridge. Oh, there's another door at the end next to the fridge that leads into the den/nursery, currently Chase's room. I keep that door closed 99.999% of the time.

Your remodel looks great.
