Next week is Random Acts of Kindness week. Do you do any Random Acts of Kindness? When was the last time you received a Random Act of Kindness? What was it? When was the last time you did a Random Act of Kindness? What was it?
Do you do any Random Acts of Kindness? Not as such regularly but when I can I do. When was the last time you received a Random Act of Kindness? What was it? Two I can think of off the top of my head. Last month receiving a notification that I'd been selected as a GSO. I'd actually been nominated already that month but this particular one was way more impactful than they'll ever know. I had just woken up to a voicemail message from my aunt so I listened to it, only to find out my grandmother had passed away overnight. I went upon my daily routine which was checking TLP amongst other things online and I saw the notification which instantly lifted what was quite a heavy mood at the time. The other one was years ago, an online friend offered to pay for three months of supplements to kickstart my health journey. When was the last time you did a Random Act of Kindness? What was it? I guess my Random Act of Kindness is leaving love & giving Froggy Fave nominations around the best digi home there is ... TLP! I absolutely love making peoples day doing that.
Do you do any Random Acts of Kindness? Yes, I love to do them! When was the last time you received a Random Act of Kindness? What was it? Maybe 10 days ago. I think this was intentional, and not just a mistake, but I went through my regular McDonald's drive-through, and I always order the same thing, and it NEVER is in a meal (ie, no hashbrowns), but this day they put hashbrowns in with my order. I just thought it was sweet because I am the person that ALWAYS rounds up so they raise money for Ronald McDonald houses around the country. And maybe they noticed and just did a kindness back. I like to think that. When was the last time you did a Random Act of Kindness? What was it? My roommate paints kindness rocks and I deliver them, placing them around town for others to find. I went to a women's Bible study a couple of weeks ago, and left one in the hostess's flower pot on her porch. She found it a week later and posted a photo online, so that was fun! But I like to do all kinds of random acts of kindness, I imagine we all do in some way. I like to wash the dishes in the sink at work for whoever didn't have time in their day to get to it. And I've had someone do mine, so that's nice. Holding the elevator door for someone coming up after you is nice. I just sent a baby shower gift to someone I don't know because her mom is serving as a missionary in Sierra Leone and can't be there. Creating a photo book for a busy mom using the photos she sent me was a great kindness to her. She had 3 babies in 3 years, she didn't have time to capture those moments, but I sure did. I can't wait to hear other people's experiences with this!
Do you do any Random Acts of Kindness? Yes. When was the last time you received a Random Act of Kindness? What was it? A girl in my neighborhood brought me a little treat with the cutest, sweetest note that brought me to tears. When was the last time you did aRandom Act of Kindness? What was it? I was putting my groceries in my car and noticed a young mom getting little kids out of the car next to me so I offered my cart to her.

The GameStop employee today tried running numbers a few different ways to find the best deal so I could get my son *two* Kirby plushes with my limited budget. (He got a GIANT sleepy Kirby on top of the backpack I went for.) When was the last time you did a Random Act of Kindness? What was it? We always let people with only a few things go in front of us at Target. We also left our cart inside at the end, which was great because there was a cart shortage and a gentleman holding a toddler who ended up so grateful to have it. We stayed in a Ronald McDonald House a few years back and it's such an amazing program. They take such good care of the families and I will forever round up in hopes of being able to help another family. (We also donate directly.)
And this is why I donate! I have a friend whose son is having treatment out of town for cancer and they have stayed many times at a Ronald McDonald House. This is something that wasn't available when my parents were driving 170 miles one way to see my sister in a children's hospital in Portland. It was needed and I'm so glad it exists.
