I think he's dying, on my lap. He's had a really rough few weeks, and now he's refusing food, isn't swallowing medicine I squirt into his mouth and throat. He's all skin and bones. We were worried he was going to die after eating two chocolate chip cookies a week ago. Then he got a bad gum infection, and then he got constipated (bad for a dog with liver disease). He can barely walk. I'm going to wait until my husband gets before doing anything.
Oh my goodness... I'm so sorry to hear the news. The best thing you can do is be with him as you are doing. My heart goes out to you.
I'm so sorry, Julie. We went through losing our Toby back in March and I'm still heartbroken. I'll keep you all in my thoughts xo

Thanks all. We took him to the vet's office soon after my husband got home. He died of cardiac arrest. We're going to miss him a lot. He was a huge hearted sweetheart in a tiny body. [/url][/IMG]
