Hello everyone! I'm Roxana and this month I'm hosting the Rachel's Mixed Media Challenge - March 2022. I must confess that I have great emotions, given that this is the first time in my life that I host a challenge. Shhh, please don't tell anyone, it's our secret! But before we start, let's congratulate the winners of last month's challenge: The winners of the February Challenge are @ad77 & @*sylvia* They both won an $8 coupon each. Rachel will contact you via a PM with promotional codes. March Challenge: Let's create a window! It's officially spring and what could be more beautiful, in the morning, when you wake up, to open the window and feel the fresh spring air, to hear the birds chirping and to smell the nature waking up to life?! Let's start from that idea, the idea of the opened window. I want to see what you see. It can be a window opened to the outside world, to nature, but it can also be a window to anything else, to your soul, your mind, your hopes and dreams. The possibilities are endless, just let our imagination run wild. The window will be created by making a cut out. It can have any shape you choose, a square, circle, hexagon, triangle, whatever everyone wants and any size. Then, I want you to fill that "window" with at least 10 different elements (paint, stamps, doodles, stitches, strings, pieces of papers and so on). And, in order to keep the spirit of spring, you must include at least 3 flowers and a leaf/foliage. You can also decorate the space around the window if you wish. To recap, here's the challenge: - choose a background paper - take another paper in which to make a cut out, shape and size of your choice - fill the "window" with at least 10 different elements (if you use more elements, you can use duplicates); please list your 10 elements in the challenge thread. - the page must contain at least 3 flowers and a leaf/foliage (they will be part of the required 10 elements if they are inside the "window") - you may decorate the space around the window if you wish with whatever inspires you - you can use a photo or you can create a photo-less page - the title, word art and photos are not included in the required minimum of ten elements I'm sure your pages will look great and shine! Challenge Requirements: * Your layout must be comprised of 100% Rachel Jefferies products; 90% must be currently available in her store. You may use up to 10% of retired products. * You may use items from Mixed Media Monthly collections of which Rachel was a part. * Upload your layout to the Rachel Jefferies Designs Gallery at TLP and list the products used in your credits. * For your challenge entry to be counted, you MUST upload your finished layout to this thread. Please link your thread to your gallery image as it helps us leave love on your layout (and, validate your project). * No double-dipping…your layout must be used for this challenge only, no others. You must create a new layout for this challenge. * This challenge will remain open through the end of 31st March 2022. Prizes: Two lucky artists will be randomly drawn to win an $8 coupon to Rachel Jefferies shop. If you have any questions just tag me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
