Happy Monday! How is everyone? I'm well, but busy. Been washing the bedding. My bedding has worn out so much I've had to go raid the cupboard for some of the sheets and quilt covers that the children have out grown. I now have Tinker Bell on my bed . What do you have on your bed? Solid colours? patchwork, patterns, pictures?
I have found great cotton sheets on Amazon! I just love them so much!!! Sleep Mantra 100% Organic Cotton Bed Sheet Set - Crisp and Cooling Percale Out of ALL the sheets we have tried these have been, by far, our favorite! We have all the pastel colors and are looking at darker sheets for winter... Good luck on your search!
I use white sheets always, with a white matelassé coverlet then I have a duvet with a black-and-white striped cover on it, which on the summer is folded at the foot of the bed and in the autum/winter is pulled up over the matelassé coverlet to add warmth. I also have 4 king-size pillows with decorative shams, 2 with matelassé ones and 2 with the shams that are striped black-and-white to match the duvet cover. I also have a white woven blanket under the coverlet as well as a black fleece blanket that can be added on top of the duvet.
I love that you now have Tinker Bell on your bed Angela! We have solid blue-ish sheets and a blue quilt made for me when I got married. I need to find some deeper sheets because they're always coming off the corners of the mattress during the night.
Tinker Bell bed made me smile!! I have solid sheets, sort of a beige or light tan color, and my comforter is black with a beige embroidered floral design that comes from one corner to the middle.
I have bright bold boho colored sheets in bright pinks..teal..yellow..orange.. And matching blanket And than a quilt my mother in law made me as a wedding gift as it's getting Colder. The quilt is fall colors
I have two duvets that we alternate. This one is older, has pinks and blues. This one is newer so colours are still brighter and the orange pops in this.
I have flannel sheets on my bed ... a Christmas llama print ... they were on sale a couple of years ago. Last year I replaced my cheapie Walmart "quilt" with a nice quilted bedspread. I love the look, but the bedspread is too heavy to sleep under. I feel trapped under it, so I fold it back out of my way and toss a fleece blanket on top of my regular blanket during colder weather. I still have my DD's Miss Piggy sheets in my linen closet. The Holly Hobbie curtains that I made her from sheets currently hang in my basement windows. My son wore out his sheets ... super heroes, transformers, and "sportsasaurus" ones. Kids are 48 and 50.
Tan sheets on my bed...switching to flannel when I change the sheets. There is a soft fuzzy heated blanket that is navy blue and a very thin navy-blue quilt on the bed. We alternate between the navy-blue quilt and a tan one. They are cheapies from Walmart but my dogs sleep in my bed, so they get washed often are ware out quickly.
That's cute that you have tinkerbell on your bed now. We always have solid color sheets, and almost all of them are some shade of blue. Our comforters or quilts are more patchwork/mult-colored and more fun.
