PLEASE tell me I'm not the only one staring a New Year in the face without being the least bit caught up with the Past Year. EEP.

And the real reason for this post is to ask how you other slackers are gonna handle this situation, hehe...

I am currently on week 39 *hiding* BUT I totally know what got me behind and I will correct it next year.

So... are you going to start in 2015 and go back as you can? Are you going to plow through until you finish 2014? I want to know.

I'm not very behind, caught up to week 50 but I really want to finish 2014 first. I have to do a spread for week 33, week 46, weeks 51 and 52 and end of year pages. If I get this all done 1st week of January I'll be good. If I were very behind I would most likely start 2015 and work back.

I caught up over the last few weeks because I didn't want to be in this position. However, I probably would start 2015 and then go back and fill the holes I have from 2014.

I am extremely behind. My dad's health issues and all of my travel back and forth this year just didn't leave me much time for PL. That's ok though - I will regroup for 2015. Jen, I do agree with Aaron. Start 2015 and work current. Go back and fill in 2014 as you have time.

I'm working on week 36 right now. The summer gets me every year, and then I spend the fall playing catch up. But with me going back to work part time as a teacher this year, Sept was so busy that I didn't get caught up fast enough. My plan is to do as much as I can on 2014 for the next few weeks. Then I'll start 2015 the 3rd or 4th week of the year. I'll be a little behind, but not so far that I can't catch up. If I switch years with so many left to do, I'll feel overwhelmed and not come back to finish 2014. If I can get to week 45 or so before switching, it will seem more manageable to do both at the same time.

I'm almost current... unless you count the random weeks I skipped for no reason other than the pages just weren't coming together.... sigh. I'm trying desperately to get caught up by the end of the year. If I don't, I'll plow right ahead with 2015 and catch up with 2014 when I can. Right now I'm trying to make a call on whether or not I'm going to finish my DYD album. :-/

Oh yeah, Tracie... gotta finish my Advent album as well... but I think that one is do-able since it's so random anyway.

I need someone to take all of my kids (and my husband) away for 2 days, yeah, I think 2 days might do it... then maybe I could get caught up. Any volunteers? :giggle

I hear ya! I was back in April and have been chugging along this past month to try and catch up (having a baby in April really put me behind but for a good reason!!). Just finished the end of July today and am trying to keep plugging along this week. Being off for Christmas break (teacher) has helped me get caught up. I really want to finish 2014 before I dive into 2015. But if I don't finish I'll probably work on a 2015 page, and then do one for 2014....back and forth...so I can try and keep caught up on current while finishing 2014....crossing my fingers that I can churn out as many pages as possible in the next few days....

For some reason, I only have 9 weeks of 2014 done. :giggle But I'm catching up on 2013! Hahahaha. I'm starting 2015 and going to do the others as I can. Not stressing about it anymore.

I've managed to stay pretty caught up this year. I'm only missing last week and this one. I think CT work has really helped me stay current.

You are not alone! :hi5 I have entire months I haven't finished yet! I do my PL monthly by event, so I have some pages completed for each month, but there are some months that aren't completely finished. This doesn't bother me. I just plough ahead with the most current month/event, and then go back and catch up when I can. I always at least have notes or lists or drawings of what I want to do so I'm not starting from scratch.

So I finished Week 52 today...that means that the ONLY weeks I am missing are the two we were at Disney...so I guess I need to get scrapping that so I can say I'm totally done, LOL.

Nope, you aren't alone! I still have 3/4's of both 2013 and 2014 to go so hoping I find a good work flow that I can keep up while studying. I'm only doing monthly so that helps but so far I have no workflow which isn't helping me be productive when I do have time to scrap.

I'm so happy to be not behind with my 2014 weekly PL pages (don't talk about 2013...:tantrum), but I have many missing "bigger 2014 projects"- 2 Italy vacations that wait to be scrapped...So at the moment I "scrap like crazy", but I will start 2015 as normal because I don't wan't to start the new year with catching up...

Oddly enough, I'm not panicking about being behind on 2014...and I'm pretty far behind! LOL The only reason I can think of for that is because I am doing monthly (not weekly) and all my photos are already on my Collect App. If I decide to add more, that's fine, but if not...just those plus some filler cards and maybe a few journaling cards will be all I'll need. I'm hoping to sit down in the next few weeks and pump the pages out!

I haven't decided what I'll be doing for 2015 yet though...I wanted to do something different than the Collect App for my photos, but it really has been nice to already have photos I've chosen, done a little journaling on, and I know the size it will be. I'm pretty sure I'll just continue doing them and also doing monthly spreads vs weekly.

My son, wife and two littles will be moving out in the next month or so, so their room will be my craft room again! I can't wait to get it all ready and finally have the space to scrapbook in again and do other crafts! I can have my sewing machine out, my silhouette, printer....eeeek....I'm getting excited!

Oh, I am very, very behind! I am even considering just printing all the pics in 4x6/3x4 and putting them in pockets just to get it done. My next few months of life should be a little slower than the past few so I have hopes of continuing on.

I have a few weeks left for this year but when I was hit with the flu etc…. it just put me behind and to be honest I am just not even worrying about it. I didn't even take pictures the week I was sick and I haven't taken many throughout the Holidays. I didn't even pick up a camera for Christmas morning (say what?!). I am just glad I made it as far as I did and I may go back and do something for the last few weeks but I will just be starting fresh in January and be proud of myself for how far I did actually make it this time.

Color me jealous... and impressed.

For 2014, I am almost done with my 2nd quarter book... about 5 more layouts and I'll have that one knocked out and ready to print. Then, I only have 1/2 the year to catch up on!! :rofl
I really would like to finish 2014 before I start 2015. I just need to be good about keeping up on my daily journal of notes of what we do. That way, I can come back to it whenever I finally get into 2015.

I'm choosing to try to finish 2014 first for one BIG reason. For the past TWO years, I've moved on to the new year without finishing the previous year, and I NEVER got back to the previous years to finish them. I WANT A FINISHED YEAR!! And I know myself well enough to know that I'm always a bit behind. Catching up later is unrealistic.

I'm thinking of doing something similar... although not printing them out... but just dropping them into 12x12 spreads and plopping them into an album. I think that is the only realistic way for me to get this sucker done. I will appreciate that so much more down the road than all the layouts I intended to do but never got around to. :giggle

I would have to agree with the advice to start current and worry about going back to the previous year if time permits. Even if you don't finish, the 39 weeks that you do have will not be diminished in the eyes of those you do it for, they'll treasure what's there! I quit 2013 with less than 10 weeks to go and never went back, but that doesn't mean the family doesn't still enjoy looking at what we do have. It helps that mine go in a D-Ring binder with all of the other pages for that year. If they were in a bound book, I might feel differently about it.
