No school today for President's Day (and tomorrow is a furlough day). I'm a little bit over the word "president" at the moment...just with the past 6+months of politics....but I'm happy to have the day off! If it wasn't so flippin cold outside, I might just want to do something....but I'm also happy to use the excuse to say indoors. I'm a homebody and rarely get cabin fever. How about you? Do you prefer to go out of stay home?

I’d say I’m more of a homebody....because I don’t drive it takes me much longer to get anywhere plus I’d rather not deal with crowds if I don’t have to. And to be fair that reasoning would still stand if I was fit and healthy too especially if I’ve been busy working or something similar I’d 9/10 just want to stay home to rest and recharge.

I do love being at home, without needing to be anywhere at any specific time.
Having said that, a few days of being at home and I will be stir crazy and need an outing, even if that's to go for milk.
A once a week meet up with my besties for coffee or lunch fills my tank each week.

My school district is off but Bianca's is having school today. It is flippin' crazy cold and expecting up to 9 more inches of snow!!!! There are more than 2 feet in the yard! I AM SO DONE! I need to take Annie to the vet this afternoon and I am NOT happy!

Schools here are also off for the holiday. Good thing since we had snow overnight that made roads slippery. And, the worst is yet to come. I fully expect a snow day for schools tomorrow except they are now doing remote learning on those days. So no day off the the teachers/students (they have already used the allowed 5 snow days this year so will now do remote when school is called off).

As for me, I'm home every day anyways. Love it because I am an introvert. As I've gotten older I dread driving in this kind of weather so another incentive to just stay home and watch it snow. Heavy stuff should start in the next couple of hours.

It's so flipping cold out today. We are making smothered burritos and just staying in where its warm. Totally forgot it was president's day and had all these plans to mail packages and go to bank but that's out the window and I'm not even sad about it cause I dont wanta go outside

Man, at this point I'd love to get out and stay out for awhile, doing something other than just running to the store or work. I am so over being cold and wet and worrying about roads. We did get today off, which rarely happens. We usually have to use it as a make-up day, but since our snow days have been converted to virtual days, we actually got the holiday. We went to brunch at Cracker Barrel with my son and his wife, and it was so nice!

Our temperature is supposed to dip into freezing and because of the rain, we'll have very slick roadways. School has been canceled for tomorrow to keep the buses and student drivers off the roads as no one around here knows how to drive in these rare occurrence weather situations. LOL

I was glad to have today off and not have to take Daniel to school, and even more happy to not have to go out in freezing temps tomorrow. I am an absolute homebody and I am quite delighted to stay at home for days on end. My chronic back pain trained me well in being able to stay in one spot and entertain myself. Things are much better these days in that area of my life, but I've never lost my ability to stay home.

I'm a homebody for sure, especially when it's cold outside. And since my hubby works from home and we've always homeschooled we are all used to being around either other and being home.

I'm a homebody, but everyone else in my family loves to go, go, go! They all had work and school off for both Monday and Tuesday. Hubby took the youngest skiing and snowboarding today, so I have the house to myself until the DD 21 wakes up. She has the day off from work though so she'll be around to keep me company. I don't usually go stir crazy. I can find stuff to do to keep me busy or just take a break and binge a show. Now if the internet went out, that's when I'd need to get out and go somewhere. :giggle I'm happy to stay home and not have a set time to be anywhere.

I am definitely more of a homebody and so are both of my boys... my hubby is the one that goes crazy with too much home time. Good thing he even enjoys being outside (ice fishing) on these crazy cold winter days! I think he's nuts, but it makes him happy... so it's all good!

My boys had Monday off for president's day and then yesterday they got a snow day because we had about a foot dropped on us overnight. It's so pretty! (from inside my house)
