I KNOW that I have seen a REALLY GOOD write up on this on one of the designer's blogs (I thought it was @esahin but I have searched for a while and haven't found it yet...).

Anyhow, I've cut out elements before using my Silhouette but it is really hit and miss whether they cut out well and I am just looking for a new method to try. So if someone knows of the tutorial on cutting out digital elements with Silhouette, please share.

I can't remember who here taught me the trick to do the black .png version (like in the thread @Kat referenced above) to use for tracing in the Silhouette software so the edges are exactly where I want them, but that was definitely the biggest helper for me doing the cut and print feature with the Silhouette.

If you come across something more specific you need help with, just shout! :agree
