Thank you so SO very much!!!!!! The girl was very nice, but, as I feared, she wasn't a doctor, she is a physiotherapist, still, she was nice and Sarita also thought things went well, so I have been trying to put this out of my mind (not all that successful LOL) I do understand a physio will be able to asses the hips and arms problems, but in this cases, is a question of someone who will be able to look at the bigger picture. Anyway, now I have to wait for the decision that can take weeks...I haven't slept yet, so I wont type more as I loose the plot , but I will come later to explain a few things... Thank yOU so so very much once again to all of you. Knowing I have so many amazing people on my side is enough to make me feel better and keep on fighting.
It sounds like it went well, and a physiotherapist is medically trained so at least there's that. Now I'll send up a prayer that you can have peace while you wait for a response and that it's a favorable decision for you! Hugs!
I'll keep you in my thoughts. I am sure it's the scary stories of being denied that are to the front of your mind, but I am hoping that the physio was able to see the bigger picture for you that many of the 'admin' folks that are sometimes involved.
Most physio therapists would see the bigger picture I think . They do treat the whole person, not just body parts ..... Have faith ! Big ginormous hug!
Continued prayers and good thoughts for you, my friend. "Every little thing is gonna be all right..." sung in my best Bob Marley voice!.
Love you guys..... yes, I am keeping positive, there is no much point on stressing too much, whatever will be will be, and I always tell Sarita, God plan has always worked for us...and sometimes I don't see why things happen until later in life.... like I always told her that I think my operations failed so my mum got to be a proper Grandma for almost a year.... all the first year, during the first 3 operations, they wouldn't allow me to do much, so my mum stayed here for 10 months or so....and she got to do all the proper Gram things like take her to dance classes,. go in school trips and performances she did ....so maybe there is some silver lining here I can't right now see..... The thing that really gets me, is that yes, Suzanne @fruitysuet it is the stories of not only people being denied stuff...but also the people I KNOW who have had their life wrecked by people who haven't got a clue..... PLUS the fact that I am in this situation because of one of those social workers who think all immigrants and people on benefits are scammers and thieves...... LONG STORY...... I ll tell you when things are sorted. I'm of to see my doctor, my GP and the psychologist now, I'm lucky to have a Gp that is a sensitive, emphatic woman who has been amazing the past 13 years ... thanks so much once again, I ll be back later on
