I'm so sorry that this happened to him while he was supposed to be having a wonderful vacation. I hope he's feeling better soon and that there will be some way of easing the financial burden once he's feeling better.
Oh Danica. I'm sorry to hear this. I am lifting prayers for your FIL and his recovery and for your MIL as they navigate this. And love and prayers for you and your husband.
Update: he is still in Florida. mIL went back to Houston. They will not let him travel unless he gets a medivac. They are looking at putting in a stent but he is not well enough to do that yet.
Danica, my husband had a stent in the main artery to his heart back in 2017 and then another one the next year and he is living a normal life.
Just got word from hubby’s mom that Bill will be allowed to fly home via medivac tomorrow. Enough money was raised so he can have continued care in a hospital in Houston. Mike and I were able to visit him at the hospital last week. He is very down but we are hoping the move closer to home will lift his spirits.
I'm so thankful he's able to get to Houston. We will continue to pray for his recovery and for your MIL's well being too.
So glad to hear he’s improving and can be relocated close to home! Having a major medical event at home is stressful, I can’t even imagine what it would be like to be in another country or state. Sending lots of good thoughts he continues to improve.
Glad he can closer to home. Can't be good for moral to be sick and far from family. Keeping fingers crossed for you all!
