I love potatoes. Any kind of potato, mashed, baked, fried, scalloped, au gratin, chip form, in a stew I will eat them all. At one point the naming fairy had my name as pass the potatoes. So I am going to ask what is your favorite way to eat potatoes? If you like French fries, do you put ketchup on them or something else? If you like chips or crisps, what kind is your favorite? Once again I really like all flavors but my favorite are these chips from New Orleans and they are called voodoo flavored. They have a little bit of everything in them.

Oh man... there is not a potato that I don't like LOL but I always prefer more crispy.
Even for baked, I prefer the British way which makes a crisper skin and creamier inside.

I'm with Krista, there isn't a potato that I don't like. I don't think I could choose a favorite. NO ketchup on them, please, ever!! My favorite chips are Utz Crab Chips with Chesapeake Bay Crab Seasoning!

Considering my diet during all my dental issues was mainly mashed potatoes or baked potatoes, I guess you could say that I like them!

Once I could eat non-soft foods, I went right for the french fries, tater tots, curly fries all fixed in the air fryer. But one of my favorite potato dishes is one Mom found many years ago that we ended up calling "Chicken cheese fries". Super easy to make and I can get 3 to 4 meals out of a 9x12 pan.

Always loved getting french fries at the county fair and dousing them with vinegar. Otherwise french fries are dipped in ketchup. As for potato chips, salt and vinegar for me.

Seriously. I love potatoes. I try not to cook them often at home - or in limited quantities! :giggle

I love them all.
Fav dipping sauce changes to what I'm eating - ketchup, horseradish sauce, Chik-Fil-A, vinegar, ranch.... etc.
Fav chips are probably plain.... but I do love ag crunchy Salt & Vinegar or a Jalapeño.

Oh yeah! Add me to the potato lovers pile! I love all things potato and really there are SOOO many things you can do with potatoes. I really love to make shredded hashbrowns at home and fry them until the edges are crispy and then drown them in ketchup. :giggle

For chips, I like to mix that up, regular, BBQ and sometimes even salt and vinegar. And if we are getting really crazy, there's a sub shop here that has sweet potato chips and I really love those too!

I don't like scalloped potatoes (not a fan of milk/cream), but I loved mashed, baked or fried (French or pan). My favorite dip for French fries is the Campfire dip at Red Robin's ... I *think* it's BBQ sauce and mayo, but I also like Ketchup, Ranch dressing, and "fry" dip.

For chips, I like ridged chips with homemade Lipton Onion Soup dip.

I love this recipe for Crash Hot Potatoes: https://www.thepioneerwoman.com/food-cooking/recipes/a10944/crash-hot-potatoes/

I love potatoes and it was hard giving them up when I was keto for about 5 yrs. I switched to a plant based diet a year ago and one of the first things I did was to eat a ton of potatoes :) I love scalloped potatoes, mashed with garlic and cream cheese, fries, hashbrowns and even boring old steamed. I don't eat a lot of fat so don't often put butter on them and minimize the cheese these days. I think my fave way now is to cut in thick strips, add S&P and parmesan spice and then airfry them. What I mostly do now is to steam a big pot of small potatoes, let them cool and store in the fridge for the week. Some ways I eat them throughout the week is to just warm them up, drizzle a bit of sauce overtop (hummus or cauliflower cheese sauce) OR smash them down in a frying pan that has a bit of veggie broth in it, sprinkle tumeric, garlic, cayenne pepper, onion powder and parmesan spice. I put a lid on, let them cook on med-low heat until they get a crispy bottom OR I cut them into chunks, put them in a bowl with a tight lid, add a bunch of spices and shake hard for a minute. Because they are already cooked, they smash up a bit and then put into airfryer where they get a bit crispy.

I love all kinds of potatoes and potato dishes/casseroles.

For french fries, I love to dip them in ketchup. DON'T put it ON the fries. Must be on the side and I'll do my own dipping thank you very much. For seasoned fries, like Checkers has, I like to dip in mayo and ketchup.

For chips, heavens, I'm addicted to all of them. BBQ, Plain Ruffles w/ Dean's french onion dip, salt and vinegar . . . and on and on . . .

I wish I didn't love potatoes but I do! I like them any way. If I end up having a baked potato I like the skin nice and crisp because I eat the skin too. I like putting butter and extra sour cream on my baked potatoes. If I eat fresh cut fries I like to put vinegar on them and dip them in ketchup! If I get fries from our local Hot Dog Shoppe I get them with extra cheese and onion and then put vinegar and ketchup on them too! Every once in a while I will get them with both cheese & chili on them, depends on how I feel that day! If I buy potato chips my favorite flavor is salt & vinegar or sour cream & onion.

I'm not a big potato person. Confession--I don't like french fries! The 2 ways I like potatoes are mashed and sliced thin, brushed with olive oil, sprinkled with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then baked until they're soft and starting to crisp.
