positive thoughts please for my daughter's cat.

:( He passed Friday MORNING... I had a few lines out to local cat rescues but didn't get responses in time. I was pretty frank with my oldest on what I thought was going to happen. I kept him clean and kept giving him droppers full of pedialyte and water. She was sad that morning but because we had talks the few days before - i guess kind of Oliver status updates - she was a little sad and helped her dad bury him and give him a little memorial. I had his appointment for 9 AM and he was gone at 7 AM.

Awww, I'm so sorry to hear that. It's good you prepared her for what may possibly happen though.. I hope she's coping well with the loss.
 
it was the days leading up to it that was difficult for her. and things looked really promising... it was a surprise to me because i thought - yay he's going to make it! i don't like sugar coating things for her and then her be completely devastated for three days later... i always tell her when things are going to hurt, what is going to happen, what we can do try and change the situation, or what she can expect from other situations. i am really sad though, he was the coolest dude.
 
It's just tragic since there is no help in the area that will help out an animal in need. Not even a vet clinic. I just hate that. I'm sorry.
