Pokemon is 30 years old

I had children a little over 30 years ago, so yes, I have played Pokemon. It was a HUGE part of our life. We INVESTED in those card packs! One of my biggest regrets was when the oldest got out of the interest as he got older, I just tossed his cards! And then...his little brother got into it, of course, and I had to buy them all over again! LOL

We had all the video games, and I am pretty sure that the youngest still plays Pokemon related games! I did think it was cool when they went into the wild and you could find Pokemon and take pictures of them on your food and stuff!

I think Squirtle is my favorite!

Here's my youngest as Ash Ketchem for Halloween! Does anyone remember these Pokemon balls from Burger King? They got banned because little kids were getting one of the halves stuck to their faces and suffocating themselves! We found ours years after all that!

I was thrilled when my then 13-year-old son sent me a postcard from camp. Boyo actually remembered his dear old mother! The card read:

"Dear Mom, Camp is great. Please send more Pokemon cards. Love James"

My oldest son, who is almost 35, was obsessed! He had, watched, and played all the things. My youngest (20) played some. I funded their obsessions, but never really got in to it myself. I did play a little Pokemon Go a few years ago.
 
My eldest is 30 and so Pokeman had already had it's initial burst by the time he started school. He was more into Digimon and then Yughio, the latter being his favourite. Pretty sure I saw that he still had all the cards when we packed up and moved house a couple of years ago.
 
I love @Pokemon Go! I don't play as much as I used to, mostly events and the daily assignments you need to do for prizes in the game. But once a month hubby and I do go out and make a day of it to catch them all, lol. He hates it so much. I got him an account one of my coworkers had when they stopped playing and he plays with, but I know he hates it. The things we do for love, lol.

My favorite Pokemon are Lapras and Snorlax.
