My girls had a pillow fight at our house this morning, but not the type of pillow fight you might be thinking of. I wish it would have been a regular, good ole pillow fight.

It seems that my youngest decided she needed another memory foam pillow to go with her new bedspread. I told her that there was one on her brother's bed downstairs and she could have it. He doesn't need it, he's gone on a mission. But instead of taking his pillow, she decided she liked her sister's pillow better and switched her brother's pillow for her sister's pillow. Well, needless to say that didn't go over too well with her sister. Big sister came storming up the stairs this morning looking for her pillow. Thankfully, she didn't confront her sister about the pillow last night at 1 am when she went to bed. Yes, ya gotta look on the bright side.

So how about you... when was the last time you had a good pillow fight? We actually do it a lot at our house because we have a lot of throw pillows on the couches and it's just too tempting to toss them at each other... hehe!

my kids are constantly "pillow" fighting with the scatter cushions and big bean bags. I keep tell them not to use the bean bags, we did have one split once and the little polystyrene balls ended up absolutely everywhere. I wonder if scrapped about that or not? .... off to check my folders.

I honestly cannot remember the last time I had a pillow fight. We have zero throw pillows in our house (okay... that's a lie... my daughter does have ONE of those ones covered in sequins that change as you run your hand over them on her bed). I found they always ended up on the floor and no one in my house liked them, so we don't have them. Our pillows are all cooling gel memory foam pillows and I think they would hurt if you hit someone with them.

I am really trying to think of the last time we had a pillow fight and my guess would be when we've stayed at a hotel that has a zillion pillows on the beds...

I can't remember the last time we had one. We have zero throw pillows in our house because we have zero couches & the kids generally don't spend much time in their bedrooms so I don't think it occurs to them to fight with their pillows in there.

We lost some bean bags to pillow fights a few years back when my son and his teenage friends had a pillow fight. Those beads/balls were everywhere. It was a while before we stopped finding them in the cracks and crevices of the couches, carpets and vents. Those little buggers were sneaky and got caught in everything... hehe!

Oh man, that could have gotten really ugly at 1 am!!
Only child here so no pillow fights for me!

Yes, thank goodness. We laughed about it tonight when they all got home from school. My hubby was so confused... he didn't know what we were talking about. We had to explain the whole situation to him. All the crazy stuff happens when he's at work or outta town on business. He still wasn't quite sure, but grabbed the pillow in question and tapped the girls with it for good measure... and then we all laughed some more... hehe!

That's funny!! Poor guy, hit out left field with a pillow story!

I'm the biggest "fighter" over my pillows. My grandkids call me a pillow freak and I guess I am. I have a fit when one of them helps themselves to one of my bed pillows. I have so many pillows in this house and the overflow pillows are stacked up in the closet in the guest bedroom. They all know this, but they'd rather steal one of mine. They've even been known to try to sneak one or two of mine home with them.

No recent stories, but.... I once broke a finger in a pillow fight during finals week one year in college. I was holding my pinkie out like the Brits do for tea when my opponent (I forget who it was) hit it and pushed it down away from the other fingers. It cracked the bone in the middle joint of my pinkie. Had to go to Health Services and get a brace, etc. Good thing it was my left hand so I could still write for my remaining finals.

Oh, that's funny! I love the idea of your DD walking around trying to find a better pillow! IDK the last time I had a pillow fight. Maybe we'll have one tonight. I just bought cute pillows for our sofas, so I'd rather not use the new ones lol but we do keep regular pillows downstairs too cuz I like to nap on the sofa. :) We'll use those lol!

I have never actually been in a pillow fight. I am not completely sure it’s a real thing, I only know it from movies and tv. Lol

Haha! What a story!! I love that she did a sneaky swap to get the best pillow! Lol!!

We regularly whack each other with pillows, but it only lasts a few turns otherwise it gets too tough and tears follow. Hubby's new pillow is a really heavy bamboo memory foam or some kind of magical sleep magic pillow, and it "is not for hitting, we don't want broken bits!!"

As for other pillow fights. We each have out own taste in pillows and are all happy with what we've got, except Bellamy, he would have an entire assortment of pillows to snuggle into if we let him, but it isn't good for him yet, being so young.

We love a good ‘NOGGIN DUST UP’ in our house, only thing is I’m a pretty good aim so my boys gang up on me and then it gets serious! It’s also great excercise :lol

I think the last one I can remember (and this is a lllloooonnnngggggg time ago!) was when I was a teenager and went to camp for a week. There were 4 girls to a cabin and we use to always have pillow fights. My grandchildren have them all the time, but all in fun.

too funny! It has been years for this family as our children are grown...... we do have pillow huggers when they do come over and your visiting, everyone loves to take the throw pillows and hug them on their laps.
