Do you like them? Favorite flavor?
Or maybe you just like cucumbers?
Do you like other things pickled?

I love pickles! Horseradish is my favorite besides a good crunchy dill. NOM NOM !

It makes me laugh - I eat cucumbers every day at lunch... for the crunch, low cal, and ease. The mini ones are my fav so they aren't so full of seeds.

I occasionally like other pickled items - usually onions. My dad and hubby like a lot that is pickled - even eggs! Not for me though! lol!

The only pickles I would ever eat were Vlasic Sweet Midgets. However, they no longer sell them under that name, changed during the pandemic! I believe they are now called Vlasic Snack'mms Sweet'n Crunchy Minis but I haven't tried them to find out!

I love almost every pickle except bread and butter pickles. I can't even stand the smell of bread and butter pickles lol I also like most pickled peppers like jalapeños, pepperoncinis, and banana peppers!

Pickles are my longest enduring food dislike. I am 52 years old and I have NEVER liked pickles. Even as a child, when my sister ate pickles I scrunched up my nose and said, "Ewwwwwww." I've always thought they stink.

Cucumbers don't taste bad but when I connected them with bloating/gassiness around 20 years ago, I stopped eating them. Since becoming vegan a couple of years ago, I've tried them again, but rarely and just a little at a time. So I don't know if they still give me gas, but I may never know because I really don't care for them.

As for pickled onions, I know this may seem contradictory, but I love them. I actually make them myself, ever since I learned from my favorite vegan chef teacher, Rainbow Plant Life.
I haven't had other pickled things, at least not more than once or twice. I vaguely recall I might have had pickled carrots long ago . . . maybe . . . ? I would like to try them more. But not pickles. I still think they stink.

My second and third longest lasting food dislikes are potato salad and olives and I've found ways I like both since becoming an adult, but it's looking like my pickle distaste will be lifelong. :P

I love pickles and pickled anything pretty much :)
I am not a fan of sweet pickles, though!

I love all the different kinds of pickles...dill, sweet gherkins, bread & butter. My grandparents used to make their own with cucumbers from their garden and they were amazing! I also love chow chow. Does anyone even know what that is or is it a PA thing? It's pretty much just pickled veggies like carrots, cauliflower, beans, all mixed together and just so good. And red beets with red beet eggs, yum! Now, I'm just hungry for all the pickled stuff!

I was never a big fan of pickles but would have the odd bread and butter pickle until I was diagnosed with IBS, now I don't even try them....

As far as cucumber, I like it but don't tend to eat a lot of it as it just goes off before we finish it so we don't buy it very often.

Do you like them? Love them! They have to be dill though.
Favorite flavor? I prefer Nalley baby dills
Or maybe you just like cucumbers? Yes I like cucumbers too.
Do you like other things pickled? I've tried pickled green beans but I didn't care for them.

I love pickles! I just made cheeseburger tacos for dinner (yes, you read that right - cheeseburger in a tortilla) and had dill chips on them. Famous Dave's sweet & spicy pickles are yummy too - I guess the only kind I don't like are sweet pickles. Pickled beets are tasty too.

I used to live in PA and my husband LOVES chow chow - he found a recipe and we canned a whole batch once!

I love cucumbers.. especially making cucumber salad (I make it a lot in the Summer) or having them in a green salad.

Re pickles, I love pickles too... Bread and Butter pickles are really yummy. I like pickle slices too on hamburgers.

For me by far the favorite pickle of mine is the Ba Tempte Garlic Dill ... I am having issues getting them lately as the store has been sold out of the garlic dill so I have tried other brands and not real happy.. I do not care for Vlasik etc. I even tried the Nathan ones, not a fan. I am hoping my store gets my Ba Tempte Garlic Dills back in the store! I will buy 2 jars when they do!!!

I think the Chow Chow is mainly PA Dutch but we also would get it in NY.. My Mom always bought it and had it on the table... I was never a big fan of chow chow.. she also got the sweet version of the cauliflower and also watermelon rind and those were good, but I never bought those items after I left home.

I will eat bread and butter, but it's not my yum go to!

I forgot, you're right... I like Banana Peppers and pepperoncini too.

My son does not like pickles and I don't ever see him changing, lol! He loves black olives though.

I've heard of it, but I don't think I knew it's name was chow chow. lol! I haven't yet tried to make pickles! Is there a quick way to make them or is it a process. We got so many cucumbers last year in our tiny garden.

You had me till Beets! Bleck! :giggle I guess I need to look up Famous Dave!

Now, I need to try these. I'll have to check my store!

I like pickles on my burgers, but I don't often eat them just by themselves. I used to like bread and butter pickles because my mom made them when I was a kid, but again... in small amounts. I love relish though, I like it on my hot dogs and in my tuna salad. Not sure I've had too many other things pickled. Does giardiniera count? I love that on Italian beef sandwiches.

And red beets with red beet eggs, yum!

I love pickled beets. That goes all the way back to my childhood! My parents and I would go to church with my mom's parents then go to a local cafeteria for lunch after the service. Yes, you got a tray and plate then moved it along the rail to choose your items for your meal. Very popular place in town for many years! I would always get a serving of pickled beets/egg and so would my grandpa. Then we sat next to each other. I would eat both his and my beets and he would eat both eggs. Such a special memory for me and yes I have scrapped it!

Do you like them? Favorite flavor? Bread and Butter, I also like Famous Dave's Sweet and Spicy, sweet pickle relish
Or maybe you just like cucumbers? Love cucumbers ... I make a cucumber salad with onions, vinegar and sugar
Do you like other things pickled? Pickled watermelon rind. We always had a relish tray at T'giving and Christmas that included sweet gherkins and pickled watermelon rind. It's really hard to find. My go-to brand Crosse and Blackwell no longer make it. :(

Rene ... love your pickled beets/eggs memory!
