    @FarrahJobling I want to cry. your lovely tutorial is photobucket photos gone!!
    I have it printed as I needed to have it in my hot little hands...
    is there anyway you can revamp this?
    I will say nice things to you! lol

    I was asked by @Carol K. Carol about the Seven Styles Mixed Media sketch action that I have been using on my pages (along with other sketchy paint pages) .. unfortunately the actions are not made for PSE use. It can however be achieved to a beautiful degree in PSE following Farrah's watercolor tutorial (Above ) or Farrah's Artistic Sketch tutorial.

    My screen shot in PSE 15 with my layer pallet, so you can see the black masks.

    PSE Tips:
    To get a hidden mask hold the alt key and select the mask icon (rectangle with circle at the top of the layer pallet) on the layer you want the hidden mask. It will add a black mask to the layer which will hide it. To reveal items in the layer, with the black layer mask selected and using a paint brush paint in white to reveal the areas you want.

    to desaturate your pencil sketch from color pencil to lead pencil use the shortcut key ctrl+shift+u (pressing all at the same time)

    you are welcome. Let me know if I can help further!! There are a lot of fun tutorials in the learning pad and also "why this works" ... I find it is a lot of fun experimenting!
