I'm not sure exactly what happened here but I bet it was a dark room and I didn't want to disturb a dog going to sleep but the photo was too cute not to take. Can anyone suggest what photo treatment I could use to at least salvage the photo into something useable?

I have had a play and unless I change it to Black & White which I'd rather not do if at all possible, nothing looks good.

I played around a bit but nothing seemed to work for me either. Sepia tone looks good too.

Glad I wasn't going crazy. Unfortunately its not a photo I can take again or even recreate so I'm having to work with what I have now.

And even worse....I changed my mind. Decided some different photos of the same dog would work better for the challenge

Thanks @gonewiththewind I’m sure I’ll come back to scrapping this photo eventually so it’s good to know even in it’s current form it’s somewhat salvageable. I always knew it wouldn’t be a fantastic outcome but to me the memory/story behind it is more important than the quality of the photo I think in this case.

Sometimes - that's the important part! Like, I've scrapped a few bad photos, because the memory is more important than the photo.
