WOW! I'm very fortunate to have a cell phone with unlimited voice, text, data and its paid for by my work. Yesterday I was handed a list of everyone in the department and their average voice minutes used for the past 6 months. I was taken back that I was the lowest of 10 folks with an average of 120 minutes a month talking on my cell phone. WOW! I really thought I used more than that. A few of the guys had over 1000 minutes and they're MEN!

What is your average time talking on the phone in a month?!?!? Is it as much as you thought, more, or less?!?!?!

I usually talk about 2 hours and write about 100 texts... It´s exactly what I have for free with my fee :)

I've used about 750 minutes so far this month with 6 days left in the billing cycle.

All but less than 50 of these are from unlimited minutes (night/weekend and mobile to mobile)...

We have 1500 anytime minutes as a family and usually end up using about 200 of them...We looked at going down to 750 but that would have changed our plan and cost us more (go figure).

We share a plan of 750 minutes with my mom and my son but we have so many rollover minutes we usually don't go over.

With no days left on our billing cycle (starts over tomorrow), I have used 2,622 minutes. We have free mobile to any mobile and only 17 of those minutes were "billable".

I used 780 text messages this month. Last month when my stepdaughter was still on a phone high (phone from her mom), I used over 2000 texts. :)

I don't know (don't have a bill in front of me).

We are on a family plan though with unlimited text, internet and about 1500 shared minutes. Since most of our calls are verizon to verizon, we hardly use any. My husband is the one with the most, since when he's been working, his is used as a work phone when he's in Alaska, and when he's home, he's been using it for all his doctor calls, dealing with insurance, etc... I finally told him to use the home phone. I'd hate for him to go over and then have a bigger phone bill!

I hate talking on the phone. I rarely call anyone except for dh. Besides that, I text people. I do a pay-as-you go phone because I never use even close to what it would be worth to have a plan.

I share a plan with my husband (700 anytime minutes, with free mobile to mobile any carrier). With 6 days left in our billing cycle, we have used 2930 minutes, but only 111 of those count against our 700.

We have also sent a combined 2372 texts...yikes :)

He has been working away from home, so that is how we communicate, but apparently, we are both pretty chatty on the phone and on texting.

I couldn't even begin to tell you. My dad added me and the two "kids" to their cell phone bill about 4 years ago. His plan had free texting and my daughter thought she was in heaven. She's almost 21 and my son is 18 so we do have a FEW texts.

It sure has been a financial help for me. Thanks, Daddy!

This past month's bill had 74 mins of usage and the month before was 88 mins... I don't talk on my cell phone very much. Most of these calls were 2 mins calls.

I should maybe add that we don't have a land line any more either. Just our cells.

i ****HATE**** talking on the phone. hate it. i usually am in the 1000 txt a month area and like 30min a month talk! oh, and we don't have a land line in the house.

did i mention i hate talking on the phone?

I only have talk minutes on my phone because you have to. I hardly use it, LOL. I text and use it for Facebook and Twitter. I don't enjoy talking on the phone very much. The only people I really talk on the phone with is my dad and my sister. Everyone else, it's to coordinate a get-together, because it's easier to call my friend about the who what when where than to text all that. I don't ever call anyone else just to "talk". I have a Virgin Mobile Blackberry and it's got unlimited text and data for $35/month, and they force you to have 300 talk minutes too. I never use it up.

I'm on prepay so top up about once a month with $20 then using my phones $19 data deal which gets me 30 mins of talk, 300 txts and 300mb of data
