Pets|Pad Patter 12.15

I'd like to say no pets, but when my daughter divorced and moved back home, she brought her dog, turtle, and fish, with her. I guess that's better than kids, but this dog is annoying and needy. She's whiny and smelly. She's a chocolate cocker spaniel named Rosalee.

My other daughter and her husband have a rescued kitty and luckily she's living with them and not me.

When they were younger, we had a golden retriever named Comet, just like the dog from "Full House," but not as well trained.

Can you tell that I'm not a pet person?

we have 2 birds (cockatiels) - this is George, the alpha, in action and Nibby always has to wait, for everything (short for Nibbler - named after a critter in Futurama (Simpson's spin-off show that we haven't watched in about 12-13 years - and that's how old they are - not sure what that is in bird years but they should be around to hog the fan for a few more summers). I've shooed Nibbs off the fan a few times already today.
DS wants all the pets - or a brother - LOL a dog is looking better and better

We have a 10 year old Caviler King Charles Spaniel named Sokee And my heart is breaking as she is now on meds for her heart as it is starting to fail I've even gone to making her dog food from scratch so there is no sodium in it as her lungs started to fill up with fluid too. NEVER in my life did I think I would go to this extent to extend and better quality of life for a dog. You see I was never a dog person (or so I thought) we always had large dogs growing up and never cared for them...... I guess I found I'm a little dog person.
We also have a 12 year old Caviler King Charles Spaniel named Selah, she is a rescue dog and came to us deaf and quite over weight. She is now down to what she is supposed to weigh so that has really helped with her knee/breathing issues.

When our children were little we had a large number of hamsters and fish also, fresh water and also salt.

Pets....When the kids where younger - and living at home - we had bunnies and guinea pigs. I really liked the guinea pigs but the bunnies were kinda boring.

Now we have a cat called Ofelia who´s 13 years old (and the boss of the house), one Irish setter called Molly age 5 and my birthday present Pixie who´s an havachon (mixed breed - havanese and bichon frisé).
I love my pup to pieces - she´s such a sweetheart and mama´s little pet! <3
