Personal Shopper - Spring 2016

Hi Dawn,
I'm using the BYOC October 14 for a trip to VA/NC in late October. Here is a sample:

If you don't know what BYOC is it's Build your own collaboration. All the kits in the month use the same color palette. So you can mix and match your papers and elements. I'd look through those I believe July's is the weekend and you can get a pretty big discount depending on how much you buy.
If you need or can wait for a couple there are 8 challenges every month. Do 6 challenges and earn a 30% coupon off everything (except Bundles) -- one time use.

Thank you! I just got a Storyteller subscription starting for July and I can't wait to see this month's BYOC! I've done the challenges to get the coupon so I'm excited about that!
 
Wow you must be fast. Jaime's Storyteller can't be beat and you can get the member discount on her old stuff. I been that was a great camping trip. I love the Smoky Mountains but I live in WA State so who knows when I'll get back.
 
Oh and there should be a sneak peak of BYOC in the newletter today
 
The only reason I did them so quickly is because I'm off work on long-term sick leave. I had two back surgeries in three weeks so I have some recovering to do before I go back to work. I'm trying to get everything done that I can before then. :) I used to digi scrap from 2005-2009 or so and I also designed. But, my computer got slow, wouldn't run photoshop, life got busier with my children and I just didn't do it anymore. I'm so glad that I started again!

We've been out to the Smokys three times and are already planning another trip. We're only about 8 hours away and we absolutely love it out there!
 
Good timing for returning to scrapbooking. I managed to get there at the peak of the leaves changing (I went there for a week of classes) so it was really gorgeous.
 
Thanks @Dalis but neither kit are quite my style to be honest...maybe more of just spending time with friends theme would be better

Okay you might have to dig for this one. Spartans -- think running in mud, carrying logs, climbing walls, army crawl under barbed wire, etc etc. Or would you do this in a basic solid color album -- their colors are red, black, blue, green, yellow, so I could that. Or pocket style, but then I need muddy cards.

Oh I know exactly what it is! I swear my neighbors think I injury myself on purpose every year so I can skip our local Spartans. LOL!!! I am just clumsy as hell!
 
Ohhhh... well if you did the Trifecta and someone made you a book of all the pictures what would you want? Art Journaling not included.

I would probably go more clean and simple and do some pocket scrapping so I can fit tons of pics and cards that tell the story versus having to journal about each set of pic.

That's what I was thinking originally -- just solids. I could find phrases to put on some cards for pocket. Maybe I can message her friend and get some journal ideas. Thanks I needed some support on picking which direction.
 
I am looking for kits for Beauty and the Beast- she is dressed in her dark red winter dress. I didn't see anything that fits in Sahlin's Project Mouse. Any help would be appreciated.

If I am not mistaken her red winter dress is a dark (maroon) and old rose dress, so here is what I thought immediately.




I would also recommend for you to look at our Document Your December section of the store, which is on sale through the month of JULY.
