Paper, or plastic?

Mostly plastic, 'cause that's all that's available where I usually shop. But we recycle most of them. Paper when I get it at a different store, simply cause it keeps my cold stuff cold. :D

Plastic or reusable cloth bags. I went to buy milk the other day and they used a paper bag and it tore right up!

I love my reusable bags. They hold much more and sit up great in my car. When I forget them then it's plastic.

Our grocery has a scanner so you can scan and bag as you shop and just pay at the end. (So you don't have to fill your cart up, empty the cart on to belt, and then re-fill cart = faster).... SO... I use what is available right next to the scanners.

I wish we had that! That's awesome!

We don't have paper bags at grocery store here, only cloth bags or biodegradable plastic bags. I use my cloth bags.

We don't have paper any more so it is plastic. They go to the Day Care we sponsor and are used to dispose of dirty diapers.

paper is not an option here. plastic or bring your own....and storing paper bags is mucho not bueno because the cockaroaches delight on the glue that holds the bottom together, it is like a buffet for bugs...so plastic bags are in surplus

re-useable canvas type and plastic- no paper here either - the plastic ones we end up re-using in the end too

almost always bring re-usable bags (a mix of cloth and paper type ones). Some stores have paper and we will take those if we forget bags most stores only have plastic (which we re-use one way or another). Beginning this year everyone who uses plastic carry out bags will have to pay 10 cents per bag.

Plastic. I need the flexibility and the handles. Plus, then they become trash liners. :)

I use the recyclable bags they sell at the Supermarkets now, you can re-use them over and over .... the only problem is I keep forgetting to put them in the car when I go to the shops :giggle

I try to remember my reusable bags. Otherwise, I usually don't have a choice. At Trader Joe's and Whole Foods it's paper. Otherwise, it's plastic.

We only have the option of plastic or bring your own. I have 3 bins that I take. If I forget I'm stuck with plastic.
