Pampered Chef and other parties

Well, it was lots of fun, like all of you knew it would be!! I am glad that I am not alone in the stress of it all though.

The biggest surprise for me was the rep made croutons on one of the stones--small ridged baker--in the microwave in like 30 seconds. I did NOT know that you could make bread crispy in the microwave like that!!!

I think that all of the products that everyone mentioned here were listed as some of the favorites of people who came to the party--clearly, you guys know your stuff.

I'm glad it went well! I just had to chime in because I too get stressed out by that sort of thing. The #1 reason being I hate feeling like I'm pushing people to spend money. I haven't ever hosted one, but I tried being a rep for a couple things way back right after college and I did horrible LOL. I'm just not cut out for direct sales I guess!

This batter bowl:

Also the bamboo spoons are great, the garlic press, the quick-stir pitcher.

Yep that batter bowl is great. I've had mine forever. Also love the hamburger mixer thingie, and the spatula/servers. Oh and the citrus peeler!

I have had that batter bowl for years too and some bamboo spoons. The little serving spatula is another favorite, because it is the perfect size for brownies.

My party did pretty well and I am excited to get some new stuff! Does anyone own the Deep Covered Baker? They made that sound like the best thing ever at the party. And I am ordering a bunch of those citrus peelers to give along with oranges and some sort of cheesy "orange you the best teacher ever?" quote for teacher appreciate next year and to give to each person that bought something at the show.
