This is probably a whiny thread, but I figured we all need to whine sometimes. Otherwise how will people know we're in pain? :giggle

So what's been aching you lately? Toothache? Headache? Injury of some sort?

I have a hip flexor that's been giving me on again off again grief for months. I think cycling aggravates it more than running but it's hard to say since I'm doing a lot of both.

Stupid body, start cooperating!! :furious

Right now its my feet, knees & back cause I need new shoes that will fit my orthotics in - at the moment they only fit in my gym/running shoes and nothing else. Think I will just have to bite the bullet & wear my running shoes for now.

Another on the foot issue. Been wearing sandals alot and the arches of my feet are killing me!!!

I started training for a 5k in April and had to quit after I ran the actual 5k in May because my knees were killing me. I've been walking since then and they still aren't very happy with me. :(

My 3-year-old insisted on going on a roller coaster, and then freaked out when we were on it. I had to carry her home, telling her she was safe now over and over. My back is not my friend anymore.

I'm actually not really hurting anywhere right now, but I'm still SUUUUUUUPER itchy from getting over poison ivy! It's ridiculous!!

My hands!. I bit it the other day and almost did a face plant, my palms and right thumb are scraped and so bruised up it's crazy. My ego too, it was really embarrassing.

My back is hurting me more than usual. I assume it's pregnancy-related, so I'm still hoping it will lessen over the next few months now that that business is over and done with.

I'm 9 months pregnant so lots hurts. I totally needed this thread Angie! Just this morning I thought "I wish i could talk to someone about all my aches." So here goes....

Stabbing pain from a pinched sciatic. Hip pain from being to flexible and my hips falling out of place after they loosen for the baby. Tailbone pain from being to flexible. Swollen legs and feet that feel like their are going to burst. Heart and lung pain from blood clots in my lungs. Ummm...I think that is it.

LOL! I'm one big ache! I've never been one to count down the days of my pregnancies before(4 previous pregnancies). But this time around I am definitely counting and whining about the length left!!!! This too shall end right?!

I had a MASSIVE vertigo attack last night.. ended up falling HARD in the bathroom and taking the towel rack off the wall with me.. I am black and blue all over now.. and my head is still spinning.. I can't move much today and I really can not keep any food down.. it is bad :(

Oh my girls, I'm sorry for the pain y'all have! I'm with Kristin, I'm itchy as all get out. Stupid mosquitoes! I used Deep Woods Off, we had candles going, fan blowing and they STILL bit me! This was last week when I was in Austin and I'm still scratching. Those Austin area skeeters are a lot meaner than the ones in Ft.Worth!

I'm sorry everyone is feeling badly! I feel a little guilty comparing my 3 day sore neck to the other comments...

Sounds like we need a Lilypad resident Doctor! Lots of ailments and illness here - get well soon girlies! :D

well, you all know I have so many conditions I could feel a medical text book.... I live 24/7 with pain, tens units, heat pads, high level meds are my friends...but pain does never go away completely.... I whine enough as it goes...so I let you guys vent....

My thumbs were hurting when I started reading but I feel pretty good compared to you guys.

Okay, so while we were on vacation, we did LOTS of hiking. Well, we went hiking one day after it rained, and we encountered a HUGE mud bog. Everyone else in my family walked around it on this skinny little dry path way off to theright of the trail. I, however, was way over on the left, and was apparently feeling super sure of my skillz.... of which I quickly found I had none. There was a log in the middle of the mud... do you see where this is going? I thought, "Hey, I bet I can step on that log and jump across." I was very wrong. I did step on the log. Then said log rolled out from under me and dropped me HARD, straight down into the mud. I landed hard on my right side with my arm up under my body. Ever since then my right should has been a disaster. I've had it (and my clavicle) x-rayed. Nothing is broken. But something is definitely not right. *sigh*

My feet ache all the time, and my lower back has been killing me ever since a long trip earlier this summer. No worries, though!!
