What's the first thing you'd do it you won?

I'd have some major renovations done at my house (I'd keep it, though, I like it!) and buy a winter home somewhere warm and wonderful.

Buy a 3 bedroom house with a fabulous kitchen and have a few holidays xx

I'd pay off my student loan - it will probably be about $45k at the end of next year (luckily its interest free while I live in NZ so I'd have to pay it off before I travel)

I would invest it for my girls education and if there was enough buy a cottage on the beach somewhere warm.

pay off the house & do renovations we need, new vehicles for both of us, and then save the rest for vacations each year and college funds :)

Vacation home (or two). I could be talked into moving to a new house, if I found the right property.

Pay off my student loan, buy an SUV to replacing ours that is dying. Buy a lake house.

And take the kids on a rad vacation.

Nothing exciting - pay off debt including the mortgage, put chunks aside for the kids' education, buy a wheelchair, replace our roof and old van, do other maintenance/repairs on the house, book a flight to visit Lorry (ok that one's exciting!), and, like sushimommy said, put aside for vacations every year.

New house. Our house is falling apart. I need a library and a craft room and a room for Penny.

WoooHoooo...this is always fun to think about!!! I never play the lottery, so would have no chance to win, but if for some reason I won any large amount of money I would do the following:

1. Give 10% to charity/church
2. Pay off the rest of our house
3. buy newer vehicle
4. fund girls college funds some
5. fund IRA's to max for year
6. shop a little
7. I am guessing it would be gone by #7!!!

Boring stuff first...pay off debt, set aside college funds for the youngest, replace the cars. I'd probably gift my nephews a chunk for their future college educations too. Then, a new-to-us house, on acreage and with fiber optic internet LOL. I'd love to buy something old to restore. We'd go to Disney for sure too :D.

Pay off debt/house.
Make retirement/college arrangements.
Buy DH a truck.
Super duper vacation.
Renovations/house expansion.
Retire or at least go part time. :)

This has been hard year for my parents, Dad has some major health issues, so I would take my Mum on a big holiday and pay a carer to keep an eye on Dad. If it was enough money, I would get them a smaller, newer house that is easy to keep warm and to look after.

And I would of course take my family on a nice long holiday (mmm, the Mediterranean area sounds ideal at the moment...)

we can dream...

pay off debt/ bills. Then take my whole family on an amazing vacation.

Pay off all our debt, plan a vacation, put money aside for retirement and for the boys' college tuition.....

I would love to start a No Kill Humane Shelter for small animals too

Pay off my student loans!!! Then take a nice vacation with the kiddos and fiance!!
