Pad Patter: 5/6 - Nails

Mine are all natural!!! LOL I am a "picker" so no polish for me!!!

I have thin, soft nails that don't grow. I had acrylic at one time but they just got in the way! So I gave up!

I love flipflops and sandals in the summer and always have bright color on toes, usually blue, green or purple but sometimes a pinky color. Nails are kept filed medium short and I wear a light golden shimmer polish that is fairly neutral.

unpolished and short...but I get a manicure every few weeks. They're still in bad shape. I get my toenails painted a bright color usually.

My nails grow easily, so I stick with my natural nails with either polish or a shellac manicure. I change up the color depending on my mood and/or the season. I like that the shellac manicures last so long but taking it off is kind of a scary process.

Unpolished and at the moment hacked to pieces - just finished moving and the nails are the first to suffer...
I do my toenails fairly often though.

My 16 yo loves to do her nails -ahe will often just paint them as soon as she gets home from school if she is bored but has to take it off the next morning as they are not allowed to wear it at her school. She has done pacman and superhero logos, must do a page about them...

When I worked at the bank my nails were acrylic, but still really short and french....now my acrylics are off but they are always painted dark...usually black. I have really short, stubby man hands so I think bright colors look weird on my hands.

nails grow okay..i keep them a workable length..and polish 2x a year? if I do my toes, on a wild whim, they will just grow off, cause I never actually take the darn polish off...I think about it andthen don't do it?
Don't like how my nails feel after the polish comes off.

I do have a pet peeve, people that click their acrylics together as a habit... I seriously get a bit over the top, and want to break fingers...I don't but it is like nails on a chalkboard to me! just a thought..bhaha

I love polishing my nails. I am blessed with nice long nail beds. Although because I'm a nurse I have to keep them short and can't have acrylic. I have to keep on them pretty diligently with the polish because it can't be chipped for work. I love buying polishes too. I'm addicted to the OPI liquid sand polishes. They are so awesome.

I used to bite my nails when I was little...so then my naisl have always been ...horrendous. They started getting better around my 17th birthday, but still, like yours Ang, peel and thin...when the fashion of porcelains started and was extremely expensive..I saved for two months to have them done, then I carried on having them on & off with at least 2 to 3 weels rest, my own got stronger.

LOVE the porcelains when well done.

These days I buy some packs that cost 99 pence in the discount store and...glue them with super glue :perfect
they stay ok for three weeks even washing dishes...but I do that only when we are going to the theatre or some of Sarita's performances....
