Pad Patter 5/18: Do You Cry?

I'm a cryer. We have a tv show called 'Hollyoaks' in the UK... and literally, not a week goes by when I haven't cried at least once. And don't get me started on Secret Millionaire and Undercover Boss!

Once I hit abt 25, I started to cry abt EVERYTHING.

I cry when they do something nice for someone like when Ellen gives away things on her TV show. I cry during movies and TV commercials, weddings and funerals, when someone has a baby, when someone gives me a really amazing present, during my daughter's preschool graduation yesterday, etc. etc. etc.

Interestingly, I have no problem 'good' crying, but I hate crying when I'm upset/sad/mad.

My mom is the same way. :)

I never used to cry over this stuff, but it gets worse as I get older! I tear up at all kinds of movies - even cartoons. Toy Story 3 especially!
Books make me cry too. I listen to a lot of audiobooks and I just bawl in the car! I must look like a nut to other drivers!

That's so true about it getting worse as you get older. I am a crier, and yes that includes commercials. It can also be books, movies, etc. and the Internet is one of the worst triggers. I love reading blogs and your scrap pages and it all seems so real to me. I feel that I share every emotion with each of you.

I cry at commercial and tv stuff all the time. There are several movies that STILL make me cry, no matter how many times I've seen it. It's been over two years since my son got his Eagle Scout award and I still get tears in my eyes when I think about, EVERY TIME!

Oh I am a complete blubberer! I can cry in the movies, TV, reading a book, watching re-homed puppy video clips on Youtube ... you name it, I've cried all over it!

I don't know if I've ever cried over a commercial, but there are definitely tv shows and movies and the occasional video on Upworthy that get me going. I have also noticed that it seems to happen more the older I get. what's up with that?!?! :p
