Do you like to enter them? Or do you just assume you won't win? Ever won anything cool?

I won a giant pack of Technique Tuesday stamps as a door prize once. And a pair of running shoes AND a running skirt on FB (2 different contests).

And one time, I won this really cool guest spot at TLP for completing all the monthly challenges. :D

I don't enter contests very often and I can't think of any that I have won that weren't scrappy related.

The best one that I won was the same cool drawing for a guest spot here. :)
 
I used to enter lots of contests....before I had kids... Now, I don't seem to have much time. We did have a new radio station open up in town and the first week they were giving away items every day. I think I was the only one listening, because I won several things - Moe's Catering for my DH work, concert tickets, gift cards for local restaurants.
 
I won that same guest gig!! How cool is that? I don't think I have ever won a hands on prize like a car or blender or money. I do the surveys for like pizza hut or such and get. Coupons? We have as a family gone with the lucky key to dealers and giggled about the pitiful consolation prizes.
 
Once in awhile I'll do stuff like enter the contests that Pioneer Woman has to win like, a Le Creuset or something. Or a Kitchen Aid mixer (as if I need another one??) But other than that, no.
 
I don't often enter anything - kind of depends on the contest and entrance requirements, though. I like the "drop your email address in the bowl for a chance at free lunch...."

Once upon a time, I entered a couple of scrapping contests and did fairly well.... ;)
 
I dont enter in contest that much either these days. But i did alot of scrapping contest (paper) and wond some cool things :)
 
I keep doing the monthly challenges, waiting for my turn to win that guest spot, lol!!

I don't enter many contests, I've never won anything super cool, although I did get a $25 gift card to Hallmark once for a door prize from some event at the mall.
 
The only contests I have ever entered and won have been scrapping contests....which is fine by me!!!!!!!
 
mmmm I do remember winning one competition... here actually and it had the word guest in it... I liked winning that!!!!!

I've won the odd little bit here and there... like $100 off a radio station for knowing some very obsure track...
 
I never seem to win contests for door prizes or blog visit prizes. I have been lucky to win scrappy contests though. I won the CK Hall of Fame & the Memory Makers Masters contests both in the same year (2005). I was most proud of that.
 
I have won the odd scrappy contest but thats about it - generally if it is wishlist or comment kind of things I do better

scrapbooking yes, I love contests, I have won a few and is great!
now the other type, I know some are real as I know people (including my parents) who have won big time stuff....
some of them, like for example here in England, the X Faxtor has a contest, you pay the phone call that comes up to almost 3 pounds.....and ALLEGEDLY win a trip, money, blah blah blah a lot of amazing stuff....
thing is...they have never, in what? 10 years?
not once announced a winner, or even a little article in a new paper...
so I don't beleive that type are for real....

I once won a combo DVD/VHS player from competition at work in college - we had to distribute coupons marked with our initials and whoever had the most redeemed won. I was in it to win it and I totally did! That was over 10 years ago and that player still works :)
 
I did win a guest spot her at the pad, which is I think my biggest win ever. I don't enter a lot because I used to enter, and I'd never win anything, so I guess I gave up!
 
I think I never win anything and mostly dont enter. The one time I won was one of Mirjam's contest (pink reptile designs)...I almost fell off my chair was so surprised! :D
 
I don't enter as often as I used to b/c out of hundreds of times and never win. I don't like contests where you have to "like" or tweet tons of sponsors. I get it that its advertising for them and that's why they donate but it's just so time consuming to go thru it all. A friend of mine yrs ago won a contest at London Drugs and received about $2000 worth of small appliances. Now why couldn't I win something like that ;)
