Pad Patter 2/2: Superbowl Sunday

We have friends getting together but we always bail on the parties. My DH has a thing about his football and doesn't like people talking while he's trying to watch the game, LOL. Any game :giggle.

So, he's already declared that he is going to our bedroom to watch and we have to be quiet. HA! He did say we could watch it with him, but we couldn't make any noise. hehe... I'm thinking I'll have full kid duty tonight, but that's nothing too new ;).

Oh, and ETA that we don't even care who wins, LOL. Although we do like Peyton.

My hubby is going to watch it. We are just staying home this year. I'll probably knit on the ouch and pause for the commercials. :) The biggest deal is that we are ordering pizza and hot wings so I don't have to cook! Woo-hoo! :)

we're currently making chili and a gluten free football cake... we're huge Peyton Manning fans so we're cheering for him!!!

Yep, getting ready for the game :)
Im not a Bronco fan, but I am a Peyton Manning Fan!! Hes like my home-boy...lol. :) Got Pizza, hotwings, chips, and dips. Made avocado and shrimp salsa dip this year. Just me and Hubby this year.

So let the game begin :)

We went over to our neighbor's house. There were a bunch of us that went over. We weren't really cheering on either team as we are BEAR'S fans. We had tons of food, drinks and fun!!

I looked for this post YESTERDAY...after the big game, but I was sooooooooo tired, I must have missed it. because yes, I DID watch the game, and that means I was watching it from midnight to 4:30am and then had to go to work after...I was a bit out of it.

So I went to bed at 8pm and got up at midnight to watch the game with hubby and the annoying german commentators who couldn't seem to get excited about anything and...get this: they were so busy blabbing at the start of the 2nd half, that they MISSED that kick-off turned touchdown!!!!!!!!!!

Otherwise, I loved it. I wish I were home (in Seattle) to get the full effect of the hawks first ever win. it was amazing, and the fotos, videos and stories I'm hearing from friends and family make me cry constantly.

Well, I'm glad you were happy about the outcome, anyway :). I found it a dreadful game. I wanted a bit more entertainment out of it and was kind of sad for Peyton. Didn't really care if the Broncos won, I just like a better game.

Congrats and hope you are caught up on that sleep. Oh, and that's hilarious re: the german commentators.

My fiancee and I PVR'ed it...we were both away from home until the second half. I didn't really care who won...but I was hoping for a better game. I felt really bad for Peyton...nothing went right for his team.
